Beginning to connect with your breath.
I breathe in.
I breathe out.
Notice how the breath feels.
Flowing in and out of your body.
Notice any tightness.
In your life.
In your ribs,
In your belly,
In your jaw.
With each breath.
Settling into your body.
With each breath clearing your mind.
And if any mind chatter comes up.
Practice being the conscious observer without judgment.
And letting those thoughts,
Worries,
Fears float on by.
And come back to your bra.
I breathe in.
I breathe out.
And with each breath.
Dropping in.
To your body.
Into your heart.
And doing a scan from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet.
And noticing any spaces and places within your body.
That feel tight.
Anxious and breathing into them.
And asking your body what it needs.
Perhaps a stretch.
A wiggle.
Abroad.
Gently.
Stretching your neck from side to side.
Giving your jaw a wiggle.
A yarn.
And asking any tension to release.
On your next inhale,
Bringing your tongue up to the roof of your mouth.
And on your exhale,
Releasing it down.
On your next inhale.
Bringing shoulders up to ears.
And on your exhale,
Releasing it down.
Continuing to go through your body.
Arms,
Legs,
Fingers,
Toes.
Ribs.
Belly.
Bombs.
Hips,
Legs.
I'm breathing in.
Breathing out.
And just noticing.
What do I need in this moment?
To help me feel more present.
Relaxed.
Cool.
And peaceful.
Where have I been holding tension?
Fear.
Anxiety I bring attention to those places and honor them.
Never say.
To release.
To let go.
To surrender.
I breathe in love.
Peace.
Safety.
I breathe out.
Fear.
Anxiety,
And the unknown.
What matters in this moment is my breath.
My honoring of self.
I breathe in.
I breathe out.
I am safe.
I am love.
I am sacred.
And ticking.
One final big deep breath in,
Filling up belly,
Lungs,
Stretching out the back of the ribs as much as you can,
Holding it.
Sipping in a little more,
A little more.
And then let it all go.
Ah,
Exhaling through the throat,
The jaw maybe sticking out your tongue.
Let it go,
Let it go,
Let it go.
And then coming back.
To a nice,
Gentle inhale.
And exhale.
I am safe.
I am blessed.
I am sacred.
It is so.
And so it is.
