Together we will journey into a space of peace,
Tranquility and calm.
Begin by getting yourself comfortable.
Take your time either lying down or seated.
This is your time and your space.
I hold this space for you so that you may completely let go.
Just be.
Gently bringing your awareness to your breath.
Feel the inhale and exhale.
Breathing through the nostrils,
Allowing the air to travel down into your belly.
And then fully exhaling,
Letting go.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Soft,
Easy breaths.
Feel the rise and fall of your belly as the breath flows naturally in and out.
Begin to draw the mind into the body through the breath.
Follow the breath in through the nostrils and down into the belly.
Nourishing breath before being fully exhaled and letting go.
Gently begin with the crown of your head.
Drawing awareness down through the body,
The mind.
And acknowledging where you are today physically,
Mentally,
Emotionally.
Know that all is well.
Just respect how you feel today as you move through the practice.
Know that you are whole,
You are held and you are loved.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Relax.
Let go.
Visualise yourself walking on a path through a forest.
The path is softly cushioned with moss as dried leaves,
Twigs,
Pine needles crunch on the rich soil beneath your feet.
With each step you take,
You feel your mind clearing and your body relaxing.
You breathe in.
Breathe out.
Let go.
Breathing in the fresh mountain air,
Filling your lungs completely.
And exhaling,
Feeling refreshed and calm.
The clean mountain air filtered through the forest trees revitalises you,
Nourishes you.
You continue to walk further into the forest.
The air is cool but comfortable and the sun filters through the trees.
You watch the dappled sunlight on the earth in front of you.
And turn your head to the sky,
Closing your eyes,
Feeling the warmth of the sun gently kissing your skin.
You listen to the sounds of the forest.
Birds singing.
A gentle breeze blows.
The leaves on the trees shift and sway in the soft wind.
Your body relaxes more and more.
You bring your awareness to the bark on the trees.
Some is dark brown,
Rich,
Thick and rough.
Others is smooth,
Glossy.
Cool to your touch.
You walk with awareness of the many different types of trees that grow in your forest.
Young saplings just rising from the earth.
A mighty ancient trees reaching for the sky.
Their thick trunks stable and strong as their roots reach down deep,
Deep down into the earth.
You continue to walk.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Inhaling.
Exhaling,
Letting go.
You feel your whole body relaxing as you walk.
Your face is soft with a gentle smile playing on your lips.
Your neck and shoulders relax.
As the ease of your arms swinging by your sides.
Walk in rhythm with your heartbeat and your breath.
Your chest and belly relax.
Your hips feel loose and legs relaxed and calm with each step.
The breeze continues to blow through the treetops.
But you are sheltered on the path and the air around you is calm.
You immerse yourself in the arrays of greens.
Some of the leaves on the trees are delicate,
Light green.
Others are deep,
Dark forest green.
Many trees have needles that look soft and green.
The forest floor is covered in thick green moss.
You gently enjoy the scent of pine drifting through the forest.
You smell the trees,
The soil and mountain streams.
You come to a clearing and find a tree that particularly resonates with you.
You walk over to this tree,
Gently placing your hands on its trunk.
Closing your eyes and absorbing the strength,
Calm and energy from this tree.
You gaze up at its canopy,
Its branches reaching far and wide.
The many coloured leaves that cover the twigs and branches of your tree.
All the shades of green.
You simply absorb the tree,
Its energy,
Its loving warmth.
You breathe in and breathe out.
You turn and have your back to the tree.
Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin as you gently come to sit with your back resting against the tree.
You feel the ancient wisdom emanating from deep within the earth,
Connecting you with everything around you.
Soft,
Easy breaths fill your body.
And as you exhale,
You let go.
You feel completely at ease.
You feel safe and whole as you sit with your back against this ancient tree in your forest.
You see the foliage opposite you gently move and notice a deer gently emerge from the forest.
She turns to gaze at you.
You pause for a moment,
Gazing into each other's eyes.
This deer has a message for you from the universe.
You simply sit with your tree,
Gazing at the deer and gently receive this message.
It may come to you now or in the following days.
Allow it to naturally manifest.
Know that all is well and that this message meant for you will be received.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Relax in the presence of this deer,
Surrounded by the beauty of your forest.
The deer gently turns and walks calmly back into the depths of the green,
Lush forest.
You sit for a moment more,
Manifesting the message you have received and absorbing the wisdom and calm of your ancient tree.
You take in the many shades of green that surround you.
So much so that the very light around you begins to glow the colour green.
You are surrounded by green.
Feel yourself shielded by a soft,
Glowing,
Green light.
This light fills your body from the tips of your toes,
Fingers to the crown of your head,
Filling your heart with green,
Glowing light.
Breathe in the healing,
Green light.
Breathe out and let go.
Feel the green light healing and soothing your body,
Mind and soul.
The healing energy of the forest cleansing and healing you.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Draw this green light into your heart centre and hold it there.
You stand,
Thanking your tree,
The deer and the forest for its magical healing powers.
Feeling connected to everything around you and acknowledging the power of nature.
You begin to walk back along your forest path,
Feeling the luscious moss beneath your feet,
Knowing that you can return here at any time.
You breathe in.
Breathe out.
You feel completely calm,
At peace,
Serene.
You bring these feelings back with you as you gently begin to return.
You gaze one last time at your beautiful green forest.
Each step bringing you gently back to your day.
Inhale.

Inhale.

That you are health,
