Today we're talking about sudden shifts.

Change happens quickly.

Just as you might notice the current of a river change,

When you are in flow,

You will sense or see that change is coming.

What you won't know is exactly when or how it will happen.

You will be waiting for change and then one moment the stream will suddenly shift.

When change arrives,

It will be surprising,

Sudden and different than you thought.

The universe.

A lot of times we feel like we're waiting.

We're waiting for something to happen and this especially starts to happen as you get a little older.

As you get to that 40 years old and beyond,

You feel that you've seen a lot of life and you've done a lot of things and you've had a lot of experiences and you know now how to sort of sense the pattern of flow.

You understand when things are moving and you understand when they're in a more of a fallow stage.

When you're in a stage of waiting,

It's okay.

Just be there.

In fact,

You can't push flow to happen.

The universe determines that.

When you are in a state of fallow or nothing happening or everything seems very still or there's not a lot going on or you might even feel stuck,

Just trust that this is part of the process.

We've used in this series,

We've used the idea before of the field goes through these seasons in the winter.

It's fallow time.

The field has to rest and then in the spring there's planting and in the summer growing and in the fall there's harvest and then again the field gets turned under to rest and if the field were not turned under,

The soil and the nutrients,

None of it would be available for the growing season to come.

So trusting that just as we are a part of nature,

It's also cyclic and not only with the seasons of nature,

Which you know,

Oh,

You should rest in the winter,

You should be active in the summer.

Yes,

That's also true and I do want to say for those of you in Australia,

Everything opposite,

Please.

I always get comments from folks in Australia.

What about us?

If your seasons are different than in the northern hemisphere,

Just flip the order around.

But as people,

As souls,

We also have these periods of time where we're super active and then it's just like nothing,

Nothing,

Nothing is going on.

We couldn't even make something happen or if we wanted to have something happen,

Everything we do is thwarted.

We're just told rest,

Wait,

No.

It's all just rest time and yet there will come that moment when it changes again.

When we change from rest to activity,

When we change from stuck to knowing our purpose again,

These things happen and they happen very quickly.

One minute you're just in this little piece of the river that's not doing anything and then suddenly,

Boom,

You're approaching the waterfall again.

So have faith in the wisdom of the universe to help you understand when you are meant to be active and when you are meant to be resting and don't worry too much if it feels like you've been resting for a long time.

You probably or most assuredly need it and this is the time you're gathering strength for the next step to come which will come very quickly and be very unexpected.

This is sort of the way of the universe.
