How To Become Your Very Own Superhero - For Kids

Hello,

My name is Saskia and I would like to take you on a very magical and very powerful journey,

A journey into the universe.

Did you know there's a magical force everywhere,

All around you that you can't see?

This magical force is the universe,

Which is the most magical and most powerful energy in the whole world.

And you can connect to the universe so you can connect to all of its magic and all of its power so you can become your own superhero.

I know that sounds crazy,

But it's true.

If you connect to the universe,

You connect to all of its magical powers and you become your own superhero.

And when you become your own superhero,

You have the magic to attract all wonderful and amazing things into your life.

And the good news is that connecting to the universe isn't that difficult.

All you've got to do is listen to the sound of my voice,

Use your imagination and follow my instructions.

That's it.

It's so easy,

But it's very magical and very powerful.

So to begin,

To prepare you for this magical journey into the universe,

We're going to take three long,

Deep breaths together.

This is to prepare you for the journey ahead.

It helps you let go of everything outside of you so you can focus all your attention on becoming as powerful as the universe.

All you have to do is breathe in through your nose as deep as you can and then sigh everything out of your mouth like this.

This special kind of breathing makes lots of space inside of you so you can fill that space with the magic,

Light and power of the universe.

So let's begin.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and then sigh loudly out of your mouth.

And again,

Breathe as deep as you can through your nose and then let everything go out of your mouth.

One more time,

Deep breath in through the nose and sigh out loudly,

Making a big space inside of you,

Ready to be filled with the power of the universe.

And just return now to your normal breathing,

Breathing in through your nose and out through your nose.

And now you are prepared and ready to start the journey.

If your eyes aren't closed,

Then I ask you to close them now.

Because this journey happens in your imagination.

Because your imagination is the quickest way to reach the universe.

So close your eyes.

And using your imagination now,

I want you to imagine that a magical surfboard appears right in front of you now.

It's not like any surfboard you've ever seen before.

It's made with every colour of the rainbow and it glows mysteriously with magic.

This surfboard is so magical that it's constantly changing colours.

Can you see that surfboard now?

Right in front of you in your imagination.

This surfboard is so magical that once you step on it,

It's impossible to fall off unless you say two simple words,

Go home.

Because as soon as you say those two words,

You will instantly find yourself back where you are in this very moment.

But be careful,

Don't say those two words yet,

As the journey hasn't started.

Just know,

This is the safest surfboard in the whole world,

That nothing bad can happen to you while you're on this surfboard,

Because it's made of magic.

So now,

As you see this technicolour surfboard hovering in front of you,

I'd like you to stand up in your imagination and get on that surfboard now.

And if you don't want to stand on it,

That's okay.

You can also sit on it,

Or even lie on it,

Belly down.

It's your imagination,

You do whatever you want to do.

What's most important is that you come on this adventure with me now,

So I can introduce you to the force,

Light energy force of the universe.

So step on to that surfboard now,

So we can start this journey together.

Let's go.

I want you to imagine your surfboard is slowly starting to rise,

And don't worry,

Remember,

This is a magic surfboard,

So you won't hit your head on the ceiling.

The surfboard can go through ceilings,

And when you're on the surfboard,

So can you.

So imagine yourself now,

Slowly rising up,

Up,

Up,

Through the ceiling of the room you're in,

Maybe through a room upstairs,

You keep rising,

And you keep rising,

Until you go through the roof of the building you're in,

And you reach the sky.

And you keep rising,

And you keep rising,

Until you can see the roof of that building you were in,

Right below you.

And as you keep rising on the surfboard,

Going higher and higher,

That building below you gets smaller and smaller,

And now,

Now you can see the whole neighbourhood,

And you can see tiny little people walking in the neighbourhood.

You can see miniature cars,

And miniature buses.

It looks like your whole town has shrunk into a mini town,

Because you're so high up in the sky.

In fact,

You are now so high up,

That you could reach out your hand,

And touch a cloud.

And I'm going to tell you a secret,

But shhh,

Don't tell any adults.

There are some clouds,

Some magic clouds,

That can only be found on the way to the universe.

And these clouds are very,

Very magical clouds.

Because these clouds taste even more delicious than cotton candy,

Or candy floss,

Depending where you live.

If you wanted to right now,

You could reach out your hand,

And take a piece of the magic cloud floating right next to you,

And taste it for yourself.

Go on,

I dare you.

Take a piece of that cloud now,

And see how delicious it tastes.

Mmm,

Isn't it the most delicious thing you've ever tasted?

Magic clouds are one of my favourite foods.

That's why I go and connect to the universe as much as I do.

So I can go and eat some magic cloud on my way there.

Anyway,

Let's get back to our journey,

Because it's time to go higher.

It's time for you and your surfboard to go higher and higher,

Until all the clouds disappear from view.

When you've gone so high,

You can't see any more clouds.

I'd like you to pause your surfboard for a moment,

And I would like you to look up.

Look up,

And see outer space right above your head.

It seems dark up there,

But then you can see there are so many stars and planets of all different sizes and colours that they illuminate the whole sky,

And the darkness fades away.

Each planet is a different colour,

And shines a different brightness.

And each and every star in the sky twinkles and dances above your head.

It's like nothing you've ever seen before.

And this is your very own private playground in the universe.

And this,

This is where you come to connect to the power of the universe.

I love coming here,

To surf around the stars and the planets.

It's total freedom,

And it's completely safe.

You can surf any way you want to.

You can surf around space without touching a star or a planet.

Or you can choose to bounce from one planet to another,

Like they're all made from trampolines.

Or you can balance your surfboard on the tip of a star.

You can even hold onto a shooting star and glide across space.

You can do all of it.

And here's the coolest part.

Surfing here,

Surrounded by a million magical planets and a billion magical stars,

Is how you connect to the universe.

This is the universe's playground.

It's where you come whenever you need to recharge your battery and tune into your power.

It's where you come to make yourself feel stronger inside yourself.

To make you feel brave when life feels scary.

And to fill yourself with powerful energy so you can make all your dreams come true.

So this is your chance now.

This is your moment to connect to the universe.

I want you to take your surfboard and go up there and have fun with all the stars and the planets.

Let yourself go and glide and surf in space right now.

And watch how everything starts to glow and sparkle as you surf.

That the more you let yourself play and surf and move around the planets and the stars,

The more you and your surfboard begin to glow and sparkle too.

The more you surf,

The more you play in your imagination,

The more you glow and sparkle with the power of the universe.

Let yourself dance with the stars and the planets now.

Feel yourself glow so brightly and powerfully.

Feel the universe's energy everywhere.

Enjoy every moment in this magical place called the universe.

Isn't it so beautiful?

And the more you surf and the more you play,

The stronger you become.

The braver you become,

The more full of energy you become.

And you start to be your own superhero.
