Winter can get heavy. It can feel grey and lifeless and cold, and your whole being starts to ache for sun, for music, for warmth, for colour. That’s what my Sunday Frequencies series is for. It’s a free vacation for the soul, where you melt into sunlight, relax into sensory bliss, and come back to life from the inside out. I'm taking you to Jamaica today... You will meet a magical Rastafari guide, who wants to take you on a technicolour transformation that's been waiting just for you. No suitcase needed. Just your imagination and your willingness to feel good.

Please close your eyes my beautiful dreamer and make yourself as comfortable as you can It's time to let go of the outside world for a little while So you can delve deeper into yourself Into your own inner world To begin just take some long slow deep breaths In through your nose And exhale out of your mouth with soft satisfying sighs Use your inhale to gather up any tension,

Noise,

Thoughts or pressure Use your exhale to let everything melt away With every breath you sink deeper into the sanctuary of your own inner world The safe and limitless place within you where absolutely anything is possible Imagine yourself now lying in your own bed on a slow and gentle Sunday morning There is nowhere to be and absolutely nothing you need to do You stretch your whole body like a cat waking up from a dream and then curl yourself into the softest,

Warmest bundle of safety It's peaceful,

Quiet,

Easy And that's when you hear it,

The sound that doesn't belong in your bedroom The sound of palm trees swaying,

The hush of warm wind brushing against wide green leaves And your bedroom begins to dissolve Your blanket becomes warm sunlight resting on your skin Your mattress becomes a hammock suspended above golden sand And when you open your eyes you're lying on a sun-drenched Jamaican beach The sky is wide and calm blue The ocean is bright turquoise and stretches out forever The air here tastes like sea salt and sugarcane And you feel the kind of warmth that slips into every fibre of your being and tells your whole nervous system you can rest here You sit up slowly,

Your feet slide out the hammock and sink into soft warm sand And with each step you take the heaviness you've been carrying dissolves into the sand beneath you The winter weight,

The pressure,

The tiredness All of it leaves your system gently,

Easily,

And completely Across the beach sits a small wooden bar painted in bright yellows,

Greens and reds You wander over,

Sit down and a coconut is placed in front of you with a single straw Cold,

Fresh,

Beads of condensation sliding down its shell You lift it with both hands and take a sip It tastes like newness,

It lights something up inside you And that's when you feel a presence at your side You turn and a man is standing there,

A Rastafari soul His skin is deep and smooth,

His dreadlocks fall like stories braided with colour His clothes radiate gold,

Red,

Green and something you can't name but immediately trust completely His energy is unmistakable,

Strong,

Gentle,

Safe and wise He smiles at you and the entire landscape brightens with him And then he says in a voice that feels like warm earth and steady drums I want to take you on the greatest adventure of your life You don't know me,

But I know you I know your heart,

I know your energy And your intuition already knows I am here to awaken you And you do know,

There is no hesitation in you He reaches into a pouch and draws out a necklace made of hand-carved wooden beads Threaded with colour and meaning At the bottom hangs a small heart pendant carved with the words Trust yourself He places it gently around your neck and the moment it touches your skin Something inside you begins to shimmer Soft blues,

Glowing pinks,

Sherbet yellows and calming greens A technicolour swirl rising through your chest like a breath made of light and colour With each inhale you take the colours expand And with each exhale all the old doubts fall away And when you look back at your guide you know with absolute certainty That wherever he leads you is exactly where you're meant to go He starts to walk towards the edge of the jungle now Not to a path,

But straight into the wild He doesn't look back,

He already knows you're coming You step onto rich jungle soil It feels alive,

Like the planet's heartbeat is pulsing beneath you The air here smells like mango leaves,

Wildflowers and a warm rain waiting to fall Birds call from treetops,

Insects hum with electric rhythm And your own heartbeat begins to match the jungle's tempo The Rastafari lifts a small machete,

Not as a weapon,

But to clear a path created just for you This is your path,

He says,

A path you are meant to trust And you do,

With every step you feel more yourself,

More awake,

More alive And then the jungle opens,

And there it is The most breathtaking waterfall you've ever seen Water cascades down stone cliffs into a glowing turquoise pool Mist rises through sunlight like silver breath Flowers in impossible colours lean towards you as if greeting a returning soul Your guide turns to you,

His voice soft but powerful This is the waterfall of your unbecoming,

The place where everything that is not you gets washed away This is where you let everything you don't need wash away He then gestures toward the water And you immediately walk forward without hesitation The warm water rises around your legs,

Your hips,

Your chest And then you step beneath the waterfall And the water hits you like soft,

Cleansing,

Powerful truth And everything that is not you begins to dissolve Fear taught to you by frightened people Guilt that never belonged to you The shrinking,

The pleasing,

The dimming of your light The constant struggle and surviving,

The water takes all of it Lift your face to the sky now,

Feel the rush of warm water streaming over your cheeks And for the first time in your life,

Feel what it's like to be rinsed clean of the past Let everything go Feel it all being washed away And now,

When you step out of the water,

You feel completely new,

Whole,

Clear,

And deeply,

Quietly powerful Your Rastafari guide smiles with a knowing softness And he gestures toward something glowing just behind the waterfall A perfect,

Vivid rainbow,

Not painted across the sky,

Not distant But floating towards you right there,

Suspended in the air like a breathing archway of technicolour light A portal Behind you is the grey world you came from,

Familiar,

Muted,

Small Before you is the world that matches your soul now Bright,

Vast,

Alive Your guide steps close Walk through the rainbow,

Not to become someone new but to finally be who you truly are He wraps you in a tender hug,

Warm,

Safe,

Grounding and human You take one long inhale and slowly exhale And then you step forward,

And as you walk through the rainbow,

Something miraculous happens The rainbow walks straight into you Colour moves through your skin,

Your muscles,

Your thoughts,

Your breath,

Your whole DNA Every one of your cells begins to glow This is a technicolour recalibration To warm your soul from its core,

Pure colour,

Pure remembering,

Pure becoming You don't just see colour now You feel colour You are colour A living,

Breathing rainbow A bridge between your own body and your own soul You are proof that deep transformation is possible And now your guide begins to walk you back through the jungle The path lit now by the sparks of colour you're leaving behind with every step you take And as you arrive back at the beach you notice the world feels very different Not because it changed But because you changed You carry technicolour inside you now That rainbow doesn't just live in your imagination It lives in your breath It lives in your choices It lives in your presence It lives in your future So take a long,

Slow inhale And a gentle,

Long exhale Feel the rainbow inside you Soft Safe Warm,

Steady and alive And when you're ready,

Open your eyes And walk into your new life As the technicolour being you were always meant to be
