Hello,
My dear Harkonners.
Today's meditation is an exercise in cultivating the spiritual fruit we observed yesterday.
To begin,
I invite you to be still.
Quiet your mind,
Relax your body,
And close your eyes if it is safe to do so.
Find a position you can remain in comfortably for the duration of this meditation.
Be still.
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in,
And slowly let it out.
And again.
And with each breath in,
Allow yourself to relax a little bit more.
Feel your worries,
Tensions,
And judgments drift away with each exhalation.
In and out.
In and out.
Repeat this exercise until you are without any worry,
Tension,
Or judgment.
Until you are completely relaxed.
If you need more time to get into complete relaxation,
Feel free to pause this meditation and resume when ready.
I will still be right here for you when you come back.
Now that you are without any negative judgment,
You are free.
All that remains is a spirit of peace and loving kindness.
Now with your palms facing each other in front of your chest,
I invite you to place your palms flat against one another,
Fingers pointing up in what is often called the prayer position.
And repeat this contemplative prayer with me.
Let the one who calms the sea calm the storm in our hearts.
Let the one who calms the sea calm the storm in our hearts.
Yahweh shalom,
We ask that you grow the fruit of peace within us.
That we may be a good harvest,
A good harvest of good fruits for your kingdom.
Let the one who calms the raging sea calm the storm in our hearts.
Yahweh shalom,
Grow the fruit of peace within us.
Grow the fruit of peace within us.
May we be a harvest of good fruits for the kingdom.
Let us be a harvest of good fruits for your kingdom.
For your kingdom.
For the kingdom.
May the one who calms the sea calm the storm in our hearts.
Yahweh shalom,
Grow the fruit of peace within us.
Grow the fruit of peace within us.
May we be a harvest of good fruits for the kingdom.
May we be a harvest of good fruits for the kingdom.
Let the one who calms the sea calm the storm in our hearts.
Let the one who calms the sea calm the storm in our hearts.
Thank you for sharing this tender,
Sacred moment with me today,
My dear Harkonners.
May grace and peace,
Light and love be with you.
