When all else fails, return to the breath. This gentle breathwork meditation utilizes the 4-7-8 breathing technique to guide you into a relaxed, meditative state, helping to lower your cortisol levels while encouraging peace and stillness within. Repeat as often as needed.

The breath,

So gentle,

So patient,

So loving,

Carefully caressing every bit of your being,

Finding its way through the dark to become light within.

Allow it to be.

Just breathe.

No need to control or change the breath right now.

Just breathe.

Explore each inhale and exhale with curiosity,

Welcoming peace and stillness on your inhales and releasing all worries and doubts on your exhales.

Inhale welcoming peace and stillness,

Exhaling to let go,

Release.

Now we will begin the 4-7-8 technique together.

Breathing into a 4 count,

Holding for a 7 count and exhaling open mouth to an 8 count.

Let's first start by emptying the remaining stagnant energy from our lungs.

Open mouth exhale anything that's not serving you in this moment and begin breathing in for 1,

Hold for 2,

3,

4,

5,

6,

7 and open mouth release for 2,

3,

4,

5,

6,

7,

8,

Again in for 1,

2,

3,

4,

Hold for 2,

3,

4,

5,

Release for 2,

Hold for 2,

Let it all go for 2,

Now allow the breath to return to its normal state and without any force just allow it to be,
