For so long you have been navigating the raw space.

Terrifying and beautiful work of unbecoming.
You have looked at the armor you wore to survive your career,
Your relationships and your past.
And you have chosen to put it down.
Let's take a deep and slow breath together.
In through your nose.
And exhale through the mouth.
Ahhhh.
Once again,
In through the nose.
And exhale completely through the mouth.
Now let your shoulders drop.
Close your eyes,
If they're not gently closed.
Now let's take a deep and slow breath together.
Today,
We're not searching for answers.
We're not strategizing the next five years.
Today,
We anchor into the only compass you will ever need.
Your own grounded authority.
Wherever you're sitting,
Feel the weight of your body supported by the earth.
You are held.
You're entirely safe.
Now bring your awareness to your spine.
I want you to sit just a little bit taller.
Feel the structural integrity of your own back.
This is your foundation.
This is the boundary.
This represents your history,
Your survived experience and your undeniable strength.
You have a strong,
Unwavering back.
And as you hold that strength in your spine,
I want you to bring your attention to the front of your body.
To your chest,
To your belly,
Your jaw.
I want you to let them completely soften.
Strong back,
Soft front.
You no longer need to lead with a hardened chest.
Your spine will hold your boundaries.
Your heart is now free to remain open.
This is what true,
Quiet luxury feels like in the nervous system.
Power without the panic.
We tend to look for promotion,
Validation,
External factors to make us feel safe and at ease.
But as my teacher Jack Cornfield reminds us,
The truest path is one guided by the wise heart.
You are the ultimate authority of your own life.
Your body's yes and your body's no's aren't the most sophisticated technology you possess.
When you are regulated,
When your nervous system is at peace,
Your intuition cannot lie to you.
You do not need to ask the world what you should do next.
You simply need to get quiet enough to hear what your body already knows.
Now breathe into that open,
Soft space in your chest and feel the absolute stillness in this moment.
Notice how the trance of urgency has faded.
There is no rush.
There is no emergency.
You've done the work of unbecoming.
The old identity has been released.
The heavy performance is over.
And now,
You are standing at the very beginning of your emergence.
And you're walking into it with a strong back,
A soft front,

You are a biological match for the beautiful chapter that is waiting for you.
Now take one final deep breath in,
Feeling in the chest with this new frequency and hold for a second.
