Sometimes when you're moving through so many different things at one time,
It can be really hard to know which is the right path,
What is the right direction,
And where could I be going?
Where should I be going?
What's even possible for me?
Because we're so caught in everything that's not ours that it's really freaking hard to see what is ours.
So let's take a minute and let's begin to separate from what's not yours so that you can hear what is.
Take a nice deep breath and just notice how your body's feeling in this moment of time.
Notice any tightness,
Any place it's holding,
And just feel how it feels to be where you are.
And I want you to bring your focus to your mind,
To your head,
Your brain,
To everything that's happening behind your eyes,
Above your sinuses,
Your mouth,
And breathe.
You've been through so many things that have been difficult,
And funny,
And silly,
And irreverent,
And crazy,
And intense,
And powerful,
And traumatic,
And like all the things.
So let's start to connect them so that you can start to make sense of like,
Oh okay,
This is what I think,
This is what I need,
This is who I am.
Just keep breathing,
Allowing your brain to update,
To catch up,
To link and relink,
To weave and unweave.
It's like if you've been out all night at a party,
And maybe it was an amazing party,
Maybe you had an amazing time,
And it was so incredible,
And maybe there were some really crappy moments,
Or maybe it was awful,
And you hated every minute of it.
Either way,
There comes a time where you have to take off your party clothes,
Wash your face,
Brush your teeth,
Settle back in to home,
Your body,
And not just leave the party,
But clean up the impacts,
The changes,
Think about what happened,
Let the memories move through,
Let your system process that you are not there,
Let your system process and see what happened when you were.
And just keep breathing,
Keep letting all the experiences that have happened to you,
That have not been incorporated and made sense of,
And connected,
Let them integrate now.
Just by your breath,
By your awareness,
By this deeper layer of consciousness,
By what I'm seeing,
What I'm holding,
What I'm working on,
Let your brain integrate,
Let your brain integrate,
And then all the pieces start to make sense again.
Even if you don't know where they are,
And you don't have to know what they are,
Just know that it's happening,
Know that you're letting it happen,
And you're letting your brain rest,
Because it doesn't have to keep juggling 40 pieces at every given time.
One more deep breath.
You may notice a little bit of wooziness,
Lightheadedness,
But I want you to also notice where it feels lighter,
Because that lightheadedness is not a sign that anything's wrong,
It's a sign that things are shifting,
That you've processed things,
That you're moving through things,
That something is different than it was before.
You did that.
One more big breath.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and come back to the room.
