Hi,
I'm Shia Astra and welcome to this session that is.
.
.
All about the things that we go through on the spiritual journey,
On the human journey,
When we are figuring out who we are,
Changing things,
Becoming who we're meant to be.
So it's a session about.
The vulnerable places that we need to go to inside.
It's the stages that we experience.
The things that happen that if we could just shift those things,
Then we could do all the other things,
But we can't shift those things.
So it's like,
How do I do this again?
How do I keep going?
How do I stay vulnerable?
How do I stay open to the process?
And how do I be where I am without losing myself to where I am?
Let's go in.
Take a nice deep breath.
And we have to start off with who you think you are.
Not in the sense of like,
Well,
I play this role in this identity,
But like under the surface.
Who do you think you are?
What do you think you're here to do?
It's okay if you don't know.
We are on shore.
Comes up.
When asked the question.
And who do you think you came here to be?
The kind of life.
You're meant to live.
The kind of things you're meant to experience.
Take a nice deep breath.
We're actually working with your belly button and that whole area of the abdomen.
The belly button is,
For many of us,
Our first scar.
The first place where We entered out into the world and something that was connected to us shifted.
Was cut,
Was severed,
Fell off.
We know logically this is a stage of growth.
The umbilical cord is useful,
Like life-savingly,
Importantly useful.
And it serves this beautiful function of nourishing you when you're in the womb.
But that nourishment gets cut off when you enter into the world.
You're on your own.
So we're going to go into the scars that formed energetically,
Physically.
The scars that are holding.
There's fear there,
Yes.
But it's worry,
It's anxiety,
It's how do I do it all myself?
How do I handle this?
How do I be who I'm meant to be?
How do I do what I came here to do?
How do I be okay?
Just breathe.
We're bringing up these memories from deep within the scar.
Deep within the energetic field.
So that we can synthesize them,
So that we can move them through and move them out.
There's something that you needed.
Back then.
When you were fresh out of the womb.
Newly delivered,
Newly born.
You needed something.
That you didn't receive.
Now.
We have all different needs when we're first born.
Food,
Safety,
Security,
Love.
Being held.
What did you not get that you needed?
Right when you came out.
Was it reassurance that you'd be okay?
Was it proof that you could do it?
Or a reminder of why you're here?
What did your soul need?
Just breathe.
Bringing up more memories here And some of these may be beyond language.
Beyond mental understanding or construct because they are from when you were so young.
And there's a part of the brain that we're going to look at here.
Not your brain now.
We're looking at it through the lens of time.
So,
Developmentally,
When you were newly born and just before So the thalamus is a part of the brain that works with how we take things in from our senses.
So the things that we see and hear and touch and taste and feel that come in.
How do we make sense of them?
How do we understand what we're seeing?
How do we make sense of what we're feeling?
How does all of this come into our system and not overwhelm us so deeply?
So we're going to do a little bit of repair work here.
We're going to bring in circulation,
Movement,
Flow.
But more than that,
We're going to bring in connection.
That you don't have to figure it all out.
You don't have to make sense of every single piece.
You don't have to sort and plan and organize and structure and fix and repair and connect and look at and all the things.
You were just born.
You don't have to figure it all out.
So we're going to bring in that connection to the thalamus that says,
It's okay.
Look,
It's okay.
You were just born.
And while you're processing that,
While that is moving through,
We're also looking at you today.
That feels like you have to make sense of everything and process everything and plan it and figure it out and make sense of it and do it and fix it and repair it.
What else do you have to do?
Name your list.
You have to take care of it all.
What else?
Here you go.
Mom,
Big breath.
And we're gonna parallel balance these two repairs,
These two pieces in the thalamus that we're working on to show your brain like,
Hey,
Look,
Look,
We're working on it when you were just born and we're working on it now.
Look you have support.
Look,
Things are changing.
Look,
You don't have to be all alone.
Look,
It's not just on you.
Big deep breath.
There we go.
You might feel a little bit of movement in your head and your body,
Like a wave going through side to side,
Up and down.
Big exhale.
What's happening now?
Is the downshifting that can occur.
And you may want to listen to the downshift session available here.
Right after.
Because you're helping your system to rest.
So we're going to bring that in.
Just connect it if you're able to listen to it directly after.
And if not,
When you can.
There we go.
And we need to work on like a pervasive sentiment.
It's like a thought that keeps repeating.
A feeling that over and over,
Like here it is again,
The thing that breaks me.
Here it is again,
The thing I'm struggling with.
Here it is again,
Me at the end of the night,
Having to go through all the things that I went through at the end of last night.
How am I going to do that?
How can I do that?
How do I do that?
How do I keep surviving?
The lack of connection,
The lack of knowing what to do.
And the feeling like it's all on me to figure it out and I have to figure it out and I have to know and fix it and everything that we were just working on.
We're going to reflect.
To this pattern like,
Hey,
Look,
We just worked on this.
Look,
Remember,
You're not alone.
Remember,
You've got help.
Look,
Look,
We just worked on it.
It's okay.
It's okay if the night isn't as smooth as you want.
It's okay if things don't change as quickly as you want.
It's okay if the repair work takes a little longer.
Where the money takes an extra beat.
Or the things that are pressing down on you to be seen and heard and felt and experienced by the thalamus.
So down.
Aren't screaming.
One more deep breath.
This is a very very deep pattern that you have like over and over gotten to the same place of dread and despair and how do I keep doing this?
Another broken night.
Another broken morning.
Another broken day.
Another broken life.
But this is where you see it's changing.
This is where you get to soften and slow down and things can give you a little space to breathe.
And you can rest.
This is where new connections get to be built,
New ways get to be formed.
And that same old pattern doesn't control you the way it used to.
So we're going to start to connect you to who you're becoming.
The you from tomorrow that's already moved through this session,
That's already cleared some layers and done some repair work.
Feel into that.
Feel into what could be different and what it would be like if it was different.
If reaching this place inside of you and connecting to this place inside both now and when you were just born.
Changes things.
Feel into your heart.
Take a nice deep breath.
And when you're ready.
Slowly.
Open your eyes.
And come back to the room.
You
