Find a quiet place to sit or lay down.

You might like a pillow or blanket with you.

Try to be very still.

Close your eyes and imagine a golden ball of light,

Like the sun or a candle flame.

A glowing yellow light,

Warm and bright.

Place this golden light inside your head.

Allow it to fill your mind with brightness.

This light fills your mind,

Eyes,

Ears and mouth,

Helping everything you think,

See,

Hear and say to shine brightly.

Light now down into your heart.

Expanding into your heart with a golden glow,

Filling your heart with love.

Light shines so brightly from your heart that it travels down your arms and into your hands,

Filling your hands with kindness.

All that you do with your hands will come from the love in your heart.

Let the light move now from your heart into your belly and down each leg to your feet.

The golden light in your feet gives you stability and direction in life.

Your whole body is filled with this golden light.

You are shining bright with happiness and love.

Bright mind,

Expanded hearts,

Kind hands.

Imagine now that you can send this warm and golden light out to others,

Your family,

Your friends.

Wrap them in this love and kindness that you feel in yourself.

Shine this light out to all the animals and plants and trees,

To the oceans and rivers.

Send this light out as far as you can.

Remember that this golden light is always in you.

Light and full of light.

Take a deep breath.

Wiggle your toes,

Your fingers.

Stretch your arms and legs as you begin to open your eyes and look around you.

Take another deep breath in and smile.

Have a wonderful day.
