This is a short meditation to find some peace and ground yourself. In this practice we focus on our breathe and the sounds of nature, specifically Australian nature sounds, to calm ourselves. Nature is so unique and beautiful no matter where you go, and this is just a quick practice to recenter.

Nature can be so peaceful and healing.

Find a comfortable seat outside,

Sitting with your feet crossed,

Hands on your thighs,

Palms facing up.

If you are unable to do this outside,

Simply find a spot on the ground where you are.

Gently close your eyes,

And take a deep breath in for a count of 4.

3,

4,

And a deep breath out for a count of 4.

1,

2,

3,

4.

In for 4.

And out for 4.

In for 4.

And out for 4.

Continue focusing on your breath as you tune into the beautiful sounds of nature in Australia.

Now slowly begin to open your eyes,

Feeling peaceful and calm.
