Hello,
My name is Sola Lathauler and I'm here to share a Qigong meditation healing practice with you.
That comes from the 5,
000-year-old tradition of Taoism from China.
We will be working with our breath,
Our mind intent,
Our imagination.
And even with R.
Lower abdomen,
Which in Taoism,
Qigong practice,
We call the lower dantian.
Dantian means field of elixir or field of medicine.
So let's begin.
We begin by breathing.
Slowly,
Deeply,
Gently,
In and out of our nose.
The tip of our tongue is on the roof of our mouth.
Which connects the superhighway of Chi that goes up the back,
The Du Mai,
With the superhighway of Chi that goes down the front,
The Ren Mai.
And as we breathe in,
We imagine we're breathing air,
Oxygen,
And environmental qi from the world around us,
From the living,
Breathing earth,
From the stars,
The moon,
The sun.
And as we breathe in,
That part of our lower abdomen,
Our lower dantian,
Expands.
To the front,
To the back,
To the sides,
Up and down,
Like as if we were blowing up an energetic balloon.
And then as we exhale,
It all contracts as if we were letting the air out of a balloon.
So let's just Start by doing nine deep,
Slow,
Gentle breaths into our lower dantian.
And always helpful when we're doing these kinds of practices to have a small smile on our face.
It's not like we're doing these serious,
Grim practices.
We want to sit with a feeling of joy.
And lightness of being.
So let's begin.
Just feel your whole body relax.
Your mind relax.
Your whole sense of self begin to relax.
Now imagine we're seeing a ball or field of golden light.
Right in front of us.
This light comes from the source of all life.
The Dow.
It is a kind of key.
And chi actually has a kind of.
Intelligence is not just energy,
It's an intelligent energy.
So we'll be working with the intelligence of chi in this practice.
So to begin,
We start to inhale.
Breathe in,
Absorb the golden light.
And let it go anywhere in your body you have.
Pain,
Disease,
Stress,
Toxicity.
Anywhere in your body,
Including your psyche.
Let that golden light enter that area and start to heal and at least lighten and de-stress that area.
We have a.
.
.
Saying in the Qigong world,
It says,
Imagination becomes reality.
So even we're using our imagination in the beginning of these practices,
Eventually it becomes very,
Very real.
So now we breathe in this golden light and then we release,
We breathe out.
Any pain,
Toxicity,
Fear,
Anxiety.
From our body,
From our psyche,
From our mind,
From our heart,
Even from our spirit.
And we see it leaving our body like black smoke.
Which dissipates into the air in front of us.
So we breathe in golden light,
Breathing out black smoke.
And really feel in your body and your spirit.
All these places that have been giving you trouble,
Perhaps for a long time,
Slowly begin to unclench.
And dissipate.
And leave your body with your out breath.
Seeing it leaving our body like black smoke.
And now.
Let's inhale the golden light and exhale golden light as well.
We are sitting in the very center of this circulating movement of golden light coming into our body and psyche and leaving.
So we'll do nine deep breaths.
And of course,
When you do this practice on your own.
You can,
And I encourage you to spend a little more time with it.
And for the last part.
What we're going to be doing is.
Letting the golden light find its own way,
Not directing it,
Not trying to force it or even guide it.
Just let the intelligence of the healing golden light chi find its own way throughout your body and your psyche.
So let's do a few more deep breaths that way.
And again,
Breathing in golden light,
Breathing out golden light.
Feel yourself being healed and nourished.
By this golden light from the Universe itself.
And then the last part.
Instead of looking for the golden light to come in and heal and recharge,
What we want to do is use this breath work that we're doing to release any physical,
Mental,
Emotional,
Psychological,
Physiological,
Even spiritual any of these things that we may have been carrying from a very early part of our life.
That are no longer serving us that may even be getting in the way of our evolution.
So we'll breathe in,
And then when we breathe out,
We let go of whatever that is we want to release.
So let's spend a few minutes doing that.
This can be a very rejuvenating and recharging kind of practice.
And you can see it just being released.
You can see it being released as black smoke.
Or just being released out of your body and psyche.
Something that may have been very helpful for you for a length of time,
Perhaps even a long length of time,
But is no longer helpful,
But is actually holding you back.
So let's release everything like that.
And just sit for as long as it takes to really feel like you've released even just a little bit can be very helpful.
And as you do this practice more and more and longer and longer,
You'll find that you'll have much greater effects.
So to end the meditation,
Bring our palms together in front of our heart.
And then rub them briskly together 36 times.
Really warming them up.
And then place your palms over your eyes.
In the center of our palms we have a.
.
.
Point called the Lao Gong,
Which is a very use a lot in Qigong healing.
So what we're doing is we're using our own Laogong to heal ourselves.
So we breathe the warmth of our palms into our eyes.
Soothing and healing.
And regenerating our eyes.
And feel like we're bringing that healing chi of our logon all the way into the center of our brain.
With a tiny little Seed.
Called the pineal gland.
Sits in the center of our brain and it has controls and helps a lot with our endocrine system,
But it also is directly connected to our third eye,
Our heavenly eye.
And also associated for many centuries with psychic perception.
And then just rub your hands up and down your face lightly to bring yourself out of the meditation.
So I hope you've enjoyed that.
That's just one of the many,
Many kind of Qigong practices that we get to do.
And I will be sharing more of them with you in future videos.
So,
Until next time.
.
.
Be well.
