Play the game of life in an easy and natural manner by viewing life to be entertaining. When challenges and difficulties can be seen with the eyes of them being part of this game then I can feel free and light. This is a meditation to help you become the ‘player’ on this field of life. *A special thank you and blessing to David Kilowsky for creating the music for this meditation.

Life is like a game.

And we are all players in this game.

Who is my enemy?

Who is my friend?

What is this game all about?

When do I win?

And when do I lose?

In this game of life,

Who is on my side?

And who is the opponent?

As I relax and reflect on my life,

I glance back at the memories,

The successes,

And what I thought were failures.

And I ask myself,

What kind of game am I playing?

But ultimately,

The playing field of the game is all within me.

Everything happens inside.

The game of life is for me to stay aligned to my truth in all situations,

So that I can keep moving forward and learning,

So that I'm not overwhelmed by the tsunami of negative thoughts,

Of depression,

Negative emotions like anger,

Greed,

Ego.

I,

The pure being inside,

Face my own self in this game.

I face my own negative habits,

My impure programming that makes me react in ways that I often regret.

So the entire game is played out within me.

And the game board is my mind.

My mind is where all these thoughts and feelings bubble up.

It is up to me to play this game in such a way that I keep moving forward,

Keep gaining success over all the negativity within.

The triggers for the game to come from the outside,

The triggers of various people,

Situations,

Circumstances.

The trigger for these games start from the outside,

People,

Situations,

Circumstances.

But then the game between the two parties within begins.

And in this meditation,

I'd like you to just observe what happens,

How the mind brings up thoughts and feelings the minute it is triggered,

How the mind resorts to something it has always known from the past,

Even if it is negative.

And yet,

Through observation and attention and using my inner wisdom,

I can choose.

I can make a conscious choice to respond in this game of life rather than react.

I can discern between my thoughts and feelings.

I can ask myself how I can align to my truth,

How I can sit in a place that is full of goodness,

That is full of love,

That is still calm and peaceful within.

So that no matter what the trigger is from the outside,

I play the game on the inside in such a way.

And I stay connected to my truth.

And I always think,

Feel and act in a way that is pure,

That is clean.

The advantage I have in this game is knowing that I am intrinsically a being of light,

A being of purity,

And that my innate nature is one of goodness.

So I am the player,

Armed with all of these beautiful qualities,

And yet my opponent,

My own self,

The old me,

Who has accumulated negative programming,

Unwanted thoughts and feelings,

Might still come to attack.

But once I have the realization of who I am,

My game becomes strong.

And every time I use my inner goodness,

There is success.

It doesn't matter what happens on the outside.

Doesn't matter if external situations get sorted out in one minute.

I am responsible only for my inner game,

And for maintaining purity in thoughts,

Words,

And actions.

Because one day this inner strength and inner stillness will have victory.

And even things on the outside will be affected when I continually win on the inside.

So I reflect and just ask myself,

How can I continue to play this inner game of life with honesty,

Wisdom,

And grace?

Because as I stick to the rules of the game,

There is not only benefit for me,

But everyone around me receives the pure vibrations that I send out.

I am responsible only for my inner strength and for maintaining purity in thoughts.

This was great. Usually I don’t enjoy life being referred to as a game but this perspective gave me clarity rather than a delusions. Thanks for sharing your gift with us! I’m gratitude 🙇🏻‍♂️
