Hello,
Writer.
In this meditation,
We will go on a journey to open up your third eye.
The third eye is the sixth chakra and it is the center of intuition and perception beyond the ordinary insight.
It is the point in between the two eyes and when I think of this chakra and its color,
To me it always has been the hue of iridescent,
Ultramarine,
Shimmering in between my brows.
For a writer,
Or any creative that is,
It is a place where we see images.
It is like the third eye is a 3D projector of your mind.
For this meditation,
You can sit or lie down or listen to this meditation even at the seaside.
The choice is yours.
When you are ready,
Close your eyes.
Let's begin and go within.
You're walking down the path.
The trees crunch underneath your shoes and dust is faintly falling through the green leaves and shrubbery and the different branches,
The last of the rays of sun,
Rush in.
You keep following the trail until you realize that you are standing on the top of a hill and if you keep walking down towards the sun,
You will find yourself at the seaside.
And that's exactly what you do.
You walk down towards the waves and you hear them crush against each other and you're mesmerized by it.
Over in the horizon,
The intense orange sun is setting against the glistening water.
The sun is slowly diminishing and all these different hues of pinks and oranges manifest.
Against the waves.
You notice there is a bench across the water and you make yourself very comfortable.
You can relax.
You're comfortable.
You breathe out gently.
Your breathing has stabilized.
The anxiety and the stress you felt earlier in the day is quite literally washed away.
And apart from the twitter of birds,
There is no one there to disturb you.
It is like the sound of the waves of the sea are luring you into a very pleasant,
Relaxed stage.
The sea is your lullaby.
And then you realize there is nothing to do.
There is nothing to say.
A part of soaking in this moment of pure,
Utter bliss.
In that moment,
You notice that the point in between your two eyebrows starts gently pulsating.
You actually start paying attention to it.
Slowly but surely,
The intensity of the pulsing gets bigger and bigger.
It's like the pulsing turns into a spiral.
The blue spiral is rotating.
Slowly at first and then faster and faster and faster.
And the faster it spins,
You're picking up more.
You're perceiving more and more of the environment that surrounds you.
Suddenly,
There is the whistling of the wind.
The crashing of the waves is loud and profound.
The chatter of the birds in the distance.
Even your breath.
You can actually hear it.
It is like life is suddenly in technicolor.
You feel uplifted.
You feel elevated.
And also,
Your soul is starting to feed you insights.
The truths that you already know exist deep within you,
But are only now surfacing back to you.
Your intuition is whispering and affirming.
And you can say those affirmations to yourself.
You are ready to trust your inner knowing.
I am ready to trust my inner knowing.
You are committed to exploring your inner child.
I am committed to exploring my inner child.
You are free to make your own independent choices.
I am free to make my own independent choices.
The peace you seek is buried deep within.
The peace I seek is buried deep within me.
Gently,
You open your eyes.
You take in your surroundings.
And a smile appears on your face.
You exhale loudly.
Your mind is playing images.
And you can see it clearly now.
Because your inner compass has been activated.
It has been turned on.
You are turned on.
Gently,
You lift yourself off of the bench and are standing tall.
The tallest you've stood all day.
You take one final look at the seaside.
And its encompassing seascape.
Slowly,
You take the first steps to make your way back up the hill.
Each step is strong and confident.
It's like you know deep inside that you'll never doubt yourself again.
And if you ever wobble or have a moment of lingering doubt.
Just know that this meditation is always here for you.
To awaken you to their inner compass.
With all my love and all my good vibes.
