This is a five minute chakra balancing visualization meditation.
In this meditation I invite you to become super relaxed.
You can either lay down or practice it sitting down.
Whatever you prefer,
Maybe you're just at your desk and you would like to just come into your own space and balance yourself,
Balance your energy.
This is the perfect practice for that.
So for the next five minutes if you are sitting down or lying down I invite you to just close your eyes and come into a safe space.
As you come into a safe space I invite you to focus now on your breathing.
You are breathing naturally,
Automatically and rhythmically.
In and out,
In and out.
If you are exhaling through your mouth I invite you to try to breathe in and out through your nose.
As you inhale and exhale just allow your breath to be automatic,
Long,
Natural,
Rhythmic.
Long and rhythmic breathing.
I invite you now to practice this breathing as you inhale and exhale.
You can count your breaths as you inhale and exhale if your mind is racing.
All you have to do is count your breaths for four counts in and four counts out,
Or three counts in and three counts out,
Or if you have a very long breath it can be five in and five out.
For this meditation we will use four breaths like this.
Inhale one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
As you allow this natural automatic long breath breathing to take a hold of you I invite you now to slow down your whole body and focus on my voice.
For this practice we will be visualizing different colors for the different chakras.
As we are sitting down or if you are lying down I invite you now to visualize the color red.
Visualize the color red moving through into the color orange.
Visualize the color orange moving through into the color yellow.
Visualize the color yellow moving now through into the color green.
Visualize the color green moving through now into the color blue.
Visualize the color blue moving through now into an indigo color.
From the indigo color you visualize moving through into a soft white,
Sometimes a yellow.
So as we visualize these different colors we move from the base to the sacral,
The solar,
The heart,
The throat,
The third eye and the crown.
So visualizing red at the base,
Orange at the sacral,
Yellow at the solar,
Green at the heart,
Blue at the throat,
Indigo at the third eye and white or yellow at the crown.
Whatever colors come through to you during this practice I invite you to just allow the different colors of the rainbow to guide you through as you keep breathing in and out from the base to the crown and even back from the crown to the base.
However you like just keep breathing.
For the last few seconds together you will inhale and exhale.
Inhale and exhale.
Last breath,
Inhale and exhale.
Well done you just finished five minutes of chakra balancing breathing practice and visualization.
