When negative thoughts arise, remind yourself that every challenge is an opportunity to grow and learn something new. Instead of dwelling on what's going wrong, take a moment to pause and put your thoughts on a different place. While you can’t always control your circumstances, you have the power to choose how you respond—with resilience, optimism, and a focus on growth.

Hello,

My name is Stacey and I want to talk mindset today.

I want to talk about how if you're feeling stuck,

If you're feeling down,

If you're feeling like the world is caving in on you,

The only control that we have is how we react or respond with our thoughts,

Our thoughts then turn into action,

Our actions turn into habits,

Our habits turn into a lifestyle.

So let's just think about for a second,

That inside of our beautiful brain,

We have this sweet little car that's driving on a dirt road,

Going to the same destination over and over.

And these are our thoughts of lack and limitation,

Fear,

Uncertainty,

And this dirt road that we continue to drive this little car on day after day after day,

Gets deeper and deeper,

Rooted and rutted and filled and the sides start to get higher.

And pretty soon,

Every situation that we encounter leads us to the same destination,

Because we're so used to driving on this dirt road.

Now here's where the magic comes in.

We have the ability to stop and pause and take a breath and turn our car onto a different road.

Maybe it's a brand new road that leads to a destination where there's hope and possibilities and potential.

And it's an unfamiliar road for many of us and believe me,

I have been on the road of lack and limitation and fear.

I was on that road for so long,

That it led to the same destination of unworthiness,

Not feeling enough,

Hopelessness,

Scarcity,

All of it.

But when I learned that I can stop,

And I can pause,

I can take a breath.

And it is in that pause that we know there is choice.

I choose to turn my car onto a different road inside my brain,

A different thought pattern,

A different destination.

And with practice and time,

And being brave,

Driving on this unfamiliar road,

It has led to a different destination.

My life is now filled with optimism,

Hope,

Possibilities,

Love.

It doesn't mean that there's still not the uncertainty,

The fear,

The yuck in our world.

It's what we do with it,

That becomes our empowerment.

We have the choice,

What we do with it,

Pausing,

Choosing whether we respond to it or react to it.

If we respond to it,

We are much more likely to drive that car to the destination that is love,

Hope and possibilities.

If we react to it,

We are most likely to go down that very familiar road of fear,

Uncertainty,

Scarcity,

We get to choose.

Mindset is everything.

So I will ask you today,

When the experiences come in,

The triggers,

The people,

The opinions,

The pain,

Will you continue to drive your car down the same road that leads to the same destination?

Or will you stop and pause and choose a different road?

It is ultimately yours.

Have a blessed day.

I am definitely saving this one! I need to make moves. To get myself (mentally) a completely different upgraded vehicle.

Resonates deeply. I once was a ‘ grouser ‘ as I like to say, until Insight Timer primed me daily for gratitude with my attention turned to look for the gifts all around me. Thanks for this reminder
