Hi,
This is Stefania and you might be familiar already with the writer Florence Scovel Shinn.
She was born back in 1871 and she was an American writer and book illustrator and then in her middle years she became a New Thought spiritual teacher and metaphysical writer.
You might be familiar with her first book which was called The Game of Life and How to Play It.
Though her work was delivered a long time ago,
Her writing,
I believe,
Is as current now as it was in her day.
Florence Scovel Shinn believed that the invisible forces are ever working for us.
We are always pulling the strings ourself,
Though we don't know it,
But owing to the vibration power of words,
Whatever a person voices,
They begin to attract.
That really resonated with me and over the years I've read a few of her books.
So here is the first of a series of affirmations that have been composed,
Inspired by those writings,
To help us,
To motivate us,
To live the positive lifestyle that we deserve with increased gratitude and self-esteem.
Feel free to repeat them after me or just listen and absorb their energy.
I trust in the power of the universe to guide me towards my highest good.
I release all negative thoughts and emotions and choose to focus on the positive.
I am worthy of love and abundance in all aspects of my life.
I am open to receiving all the blessings that the universe has in store for me.
I choose to believe in my own power to create the life I desire.
I am grateful for all the opportunities and experiences that come my way.
I choose to let go of the past and focus on creating a bright future.
I am surrounded by positive energy and attract only good things into my life.
I am constantly improving and growing into the best version of myself.
I trust that everything is happening for my highest good.
I am capable of achieving all my dreams and goals.
I choose to focus on the present moment and enjoy the journey.
I am deserving of all the happiness and success that comes my way.
I am grateful for all the abundance in my life and look forward to more.
I have the power to manifest my desires and to create the life I want.
I trust that the universe is working in my favor even if I can't see it.
I am grateful for all the lessons life has taught me so far.
Let's just have a moment.
If any of those affirmations inspired by writings of so many years ago resonate with you,
Why not put them on a card or journal on them?
Explore what they mean to you and why.
And that's it for now.
I'll be back again with the second of the series of affirmations to uplift and motivate us,
Inspired by the writings of Florence Skowolskian.
Bye for now.
