So let's begin today by finding a comfortable way to be in the body,
Allowing your body to find a place where your spine is straight.
There is no tension in the body.
You feel your body being supported in an upright position.
There is no effort.
Just give yourself a moment to find that position.
And then welcoming a deep breath into the body,
In through the nose and out through the nose.
Feeling the sensation of the warm air leaving your body as you exhale and the cool air entering through your nostrils.
Noticing as you bring air into the body,
It can feel like a wave washing up onto the body.
The wave washing in as you inhale and the wave washing out as you exhale.
On that next inhalation,
I invite you to shift your awareness to the bottoms of your feet as you breathe in,
Inviting that cool,
Relaxing sensation into the feet.
And as you exhale,
Allowing any tension or pain in the feet to be washed away with the wave.
And now bringing your awareness into your knees and allowing the cool water sensation to wash up into your knees.
Allowing any tension or stress to wash away as you exhale.
And shifting our awareness now further up the legs into the thighs and hips.
Feeling the cool water sensation wash up into our hips as we inhale.
And washing away any tension,
Anything we might be holding onto with the exhale.
And feeling the wave of coolness washing up into our midsection,
Into our organs.
And allowing any tension to wash away down,
Back down into the ocean.
Allowing the wave of cool,
Soothing energy to travel all the way up into the heart.
Feeling this cool energy bring calm and relaxation into our heart space and allowing any tension,
Any pain,
Any suffering to wash away from the heart space.
And then inviting this wave of energy to wash up over the heart space into the shoulders,
Into the neck.
Letting any tension begin to melt away,
To drift away with the exhalation.
Letting it travel away from you.
Releasing,
Letting go.
Bringing this cool,
Relaxing energy up all the way again with the breath all the way up into the face,
Feeling the jaw relax,
The space around the eyes relax.
Feeling the forehead relax,
Allowing the waves of relaxation to wash up and wash away the tension.
Feeling the features on your face become wider as though with the release of this tension,
Your eyes are set more further apart.
Your forehead is more spacious.
Allowing this wave of relaxation to wash back up along the body all the way to the crown of the head.
Allowing your scalp to relax.
Allowing yourself to feel the distance between your hair follicles increase.
Feeling the ease and the coolness in the scalp.
Feeling yourself letting go of any mental suffering,
Any mental tension that lingers in this space.
Feeling yourself accepting this cool and relaxing energy.
Feeling now this cool and relaxing energy to wash over the whole body,
Running all the way from the bottoms of your feet up around your crown and back down again.
And then shifting your awareness now into the heart space.
Feeling the ease and the stillness in the heart space.
Feeling the settled sensation.
Feeling the balance in the heart space.
Feeling the freedom that you have in this space now to begin to expand,
To welcome new ideas,
New opportunities.
Feeling that space lifted upward,
Expanding,
Growing larger.
And taking a moment in that heart space,
I invite you now to welcome the mantra,
I am at ease.
And allow the truth of that statement to enter your being to become your truth.
I am at ease.
I am at ease.
And allowing yourself to maintain the sensation of this truth in your body as you bring your being back to awakened state.
I invite you to slowly and gently begin to shift your awareness back into your body.
Feeling the peace that you have welcomed into your being.
Feeling the tranquility from your energy body into your bones.
And allowing it to be as it is.
I invite you now to open your eyes to your new reality from this calm state of being.
