Hello,
Welcome to this grounding practice for stress and anxiety.
This is a space for you to feel welcome,
To feel safe.
To feel like you can let go,
Relax and anchor yourself into something deep,
Stable,
Rooted and grounded in your own body.
I'm going to share with you a practice that I have continued to use for over a decade.
It is one that I have shared with my community,
With clients,
Which has helped many.
Anchor into something truly grounding,
Anchoring.
And stabilizing within themselves.
This is something that helps you shift out of anxious energy,
That helps you to shift out of the stressful mind,
Holding stress in your body.
To allow yourself to release it into the earth.
To allow the earth to stabilize you within your own body and your own being.
So let's begin.
Allow yourself to get very comfortable.
Let your body move and shift in any way that it needs to,
To allow yourself to anchor deeply into the surface beneath you.
Let your body slowly become weighted,
Heavy.
Feeling yourself sink deeper and deeper into the surface beneath you.
And allow yourself to breathe deeply in,
Taking very deep breaths,
Breathing all the way deep and allowing that breath to move all the way out.
As you slowly inhale.
And bring your breath deep into your belly.
Let any of that anxiousness,
Let any of that stress start to shift out of your body with your exhale.
Let these breaths start to move space into your body.
Let the expansion of your breath.
Start to create openness.
And flexibility in your body.
And just let yourself deeply exhale as you settle deeper into this moment.
Gift yourself this time.
To stabilize and anchor with me in this moment.
Let your mind begin to slow down as you listen to my words.
As you let your body begin to unwind and relax more and more and more.
Let each breath bring you deeper into relaxation,
Deeper into weightedness in the body,
Deeper into the surface beneath you.
And just breathe into this moment.
As your body slowly stabilizes,
Unwinds and begins to relax deeply in this moment.
And now we're going to allow you to connect to your grounding cord.
The grounding cord that connects you from your root chakra to the center of the earth.
Your root chakra sits at the base of you.
Just below your bottom.
And from this space that stabilizes and anchors you into the body.
A cord connects it to the very center of the earth.
And allow yourself.
To follow this chord with your awareness from your root chakra.
Down into the earth.
Deeper and deeper and deeper following this cord all the way into the center of the earth.
See this cord bound,
Connected,
One with the core of the Earth.
And feel with your awareness the gravitational pull of the center of the Earth.
Feel the power of that gravity of that anchoring force at the center of the earth and feel that energy moving up the cord all the way up into your root and feel it moving up through your legs,
Up through your belly,
Up through your chest.
Up through your neck and up through the top of your head.
And let that energy begin to move back down from the top of your head.
Let it collect any stagnant or static energy from your mind,
From your head,
From your thoughts.
Let it collect that energy in a ball of light from your head moving down to your throat.
Letting it move away any anxious words that were unspoken from your throat.
Let it move down into your chest collecting any incoherent,
Static or stagnant energy from your chest,
Letting it leave behind a sense of peace,
A sense of stability,
A sense of calm coherence in its place.
Let this ball of light continue to move down into your belly into your abdomen where it collects any nervous energy any incoherence from your nervous system any stagnant static energy anxious or stressful energy from your adrenal glands from your digestive system from your solar plexus let it collect anything that's been incoherent,
Stuck in your abdomen.
Let this ball collect it all,
Leaving behind stable,
Rooted,
Coherent energy.
Let it continue to keep moving through the body,
Down through your belly,
Down your legs,
Down out through your feet,
Pulling any incoherent,
Unstable,
Stagnant static energy from your body,
Leaving behind only coherence,
Only stable,
Anchored,
Rooted energy in in your body.
And let this ball of light now move all the way down the tether,
All the way down the cord that connects you to the center of the earth,
Letting this ball of energy move back into the center of the earth,
Where it is stabilized,
Where it is made back into coherent,
Cohesive energy,
Where it is alchemized and reused.
And just let any energy that needs to move to continue to move out the body through the bottoms of the feet and down into the earth.
Let that gravitational pull,
Pull any of that energy left behind out of the body.
Let it continue to move for as long as it needs to.
And bring your awareness to the places in your body where you now begin to feel stable,
Where you feel a sense of calm,
Where you feel a sense of groundedness,
Where you feel a sense of total stability in your self,
Holding yourself in this stable,
Grounded,
Rooted presence in your body right now.
Let your body program this coherent,
Stable energy into your cells,
Into your muscles,
Into your tissues.
Let it be known to your body what this feels like.
Anchor it deep within you so that you can return to it whenever you choose.
Let your brain create the connections it needs to create new neural pathways in your brain back to this stable,
Coherent state of being within your body.
You are a powerful being able to shift your energy,
Shift your state of being anytime you wish.
Anxiety is just excess energy that needs to move.
Allow yourself to move it out of the body and into the earth.
Remember your grounding cord that connects you to the center of the earth.
And let that anxious energy,
That stressful energy move out of your body.
Let yourself return back to stable,
Rooted,
Coherent calm.
Choose coherence.
Choose calm.
Choose stability.
Choose your power to shift.
And you will.
Your mind is incredibly powerful and you are more energy,
You are more open space than you are physical matter.
We are energetic beings,
We are consciousness that moves energy.
Use your awareness,
Use your consciousness to shift yourself out of the states you do not wish to be in.
Let yourself ground and anchor into something stable,
Rooted and coherent.
There you are able to anchor your nervous system into a new coherent balanced state of being.
This will shift your thoughts,
This will shift your total state of being and allow you to live with more coherence,
More groundedness,
More anchoredness into your true self,
Your own power,
Your choice to choose how you wish to feel.
Use this practice anytime you need to shift until you no longer need a practice to have it happen.
You will create the neural networks needed for your body to find that place on its own by your inner command.
Remember that you are infinitely powerful.
Take back your power and allow yourself to shift and move into states of being you wish to be.
