This is a modified point-to-point breathing exercise that's going to feel very relaxing and refreshing.
So come to the position that is most comfortable for you today.
Could be sitting in a chair.
You could be lying on the floor or a bed.
Your knees can be bent or you can be stretched out.
And just settle in.
Take a few moments to get comfortable.
Notice the support behind you and underneath you.
See if you can relax your head,
Neck,
And torso just a little bit more so your breath can relax and deepen into your belly.
Then notice your breath at your navel center.
Notice on the inhale how the belly expands and on the exhale,
The belly softens back.
With each inhale,
You're drawing in nourishment.
And with each exhale,
You're letting go,
Releasing,
And relaxing just a little bit more.
Now bring your awareness to the crown of your head.
Take a deep inhale.
And on the exhale,
Your breath and awareness will travel down your body all the way to your toes.
On an inhale,
Your breath travels up your body from your toes to the crown of your head.
Exhale,
Crown of head all the way down to your toes.
Inhale from your toes up your body all the way to the crown of your head.
Repeat that one more time.
On the next exhale,
The breath travels down your body to your ankles.
On the inhale,
It travels from your ankles up your body to the crown of your head.
Exhale from the crown of your head down to your ankles.
And inhale from your ankles up your body to the crown of your head.
You can repeat that one more time.
On the next exhale,
Breath and awareness travel from crown to knees.
On the inhale,
The breath travels from the knees up the body to the crown of the head.
Exhaling to your knees.
Inhaling to the crown of your head.
One more time.
On the next exhale,
Travel down the body to the base of your spine.
Inhale from the base of your spine to the crown of your head.
Exhale from the crown of your head to the base of your spine.
Inhale from the base of your spine to the crown of your head.
Repeat that again.
On the next exhale,
We travel to the navel center and inhale from the navel center to the crown of the head.
Exhaling crown of head to navel center.
Inhale navel center to the crown of your head.
You can repeat that.
On the next exhale,
Bring your awareness and breath to your heart center and inhale to the crown of your head.
Exhaling to your heart center.
Inhaling to the crown of your head.
And you can repeat.
On the next exhale,
Drop your awareness and breath to your throat center.
Inhale to the crown of your head.
Exhale to your throat center.
And inhale to the crown of your head.
Repeat.
On the next exhale,
Drop your awareness to your third eye between the eyebrows.
Inhale to the crown of your head.
Exhale between the eyebrows.
Inhale to the crown of the head.
And then you can repeat that.
On the next exhale,
Drop your awareness to your heart center.
And rest your awareness here.
Breathing as if you're breathing through your heart center.
And begin to gently move your fingers,
Your toes.
You can rock your head from side to side.
And when you're ready,
You can open your eyes and move into the rest of your day.
