To begin the practice today,

Let us get comfortable in a chair,

On a mat,

Wherever you feel the most comfortable.

Closing your eyes and begin feeling your body come into a rusted,

Comfortable space.

Taking nice inhales through your nose and exhales out the mouth.

Let your body sink into your environment,

Taking in all the noise,

Sounds,

Or just enjoying the quietness around you.

Let your mind become clear of all the noise,

Sounds,

Anything that disrupts the practice.

Allowing your body to just get lower and heavier by allowing your shoulders to drop,

Your arms to feel comfortable,

And just feeling the sense of heaviness and comfort going down your body,

Into your legs,

And into your feet.

Today's meditation and mindfulness practice,

I want you to imagine that in front of you,

There is the most beautiful piano,

With the most beautiful colors of white and black.

Let your vision draw what it looks like.

Is it an old piano made of wood,

A nice chocolate color,

Or caramel?

Is it a classical,

With its clean black lines,

Beautiful keys?

Whatever it looks like,

I want you to pull the stool out and have a seat.

Looking down at your keys,

You admire its beauty,

Its elegance.

Taking note that each key has its own job,

Its own sound.

Press your first key,

Whatever one comes to you first,

Followed by a second,

Third,

Fourth.

Even if you've never played the piano,

Today we will play.

Imagine your hands are on the keys,

Using each tone,

Each key,

To make the most beautiful sounds.

You look up at the book in front of you.

What song is it?

What are you playing on the piano today?

Taking note on each note in this book,

And every tone that follows one after another.

Taking a moment here to just do an inhale in,

Exhale out,

And play.

Hear the sounds float around you,

Filling up the room with the beauty of this music.

As you focus on your piano,

Your keys,

Your notes,

You look up,

And you look to your left,

To your right,

And see who's there to listen with you.

Is it friends,

Family,

Loved ones?

Who's there with you,

Enjoying every sound?

As you play your final notes,

You look left to right,

And hear nothing but a round of applause.

Everyone around you is cheering you on,

Believing in you,

And just loving everything about you in this moment.

Now,

In this thought here,

How does your body react to this?

Do you have butterflies in your stomach?

Is your heart racing?

Are you smiling?

Taking some time here to feel everything that's going through your mind,

Your heart,

And your body in that moment.

With this connection,

I want you to take a nice,

Deep inhale in,

And let it out.

As you finish this mindfulness and this meditation,

Let this be a beautiful grounding point when you're feeling stressed,

Anxious,

Confused,

Feeling out of body.

Come back here to this vision with beautiful music,

All the love on you,

And knowing that you are loved.

Let us place our hands into prayer in front of our chest.

We take our fingertips up to our foreheads for positive thoughts every day,

To our lips for positive words every day,

To our hearts for a positive heart every day.

Sealing this for ourselves,

Each other,

And those around us,

Let's take a beautiful inhale in and exhale out.

Thank you for joining me,

And we'll see you soon.
