Start by finding a comfortable seat.
Maybe you're sitting,
Maybe you're lying down,
Maybe you're driving today or going for a walk.
This meditation is five minutes of silence,
But we'll be together.
When we can take these pauses in our day to be still,
To turn inwards,
To regulate,
We return our nervous system to a state of homeostasis where we can make better decisions,
Where we can perform better,
Where we can get through a challenging moment.
So today my only intention is to simply be with you wherever you are on your journey.
Just let yourself breathe naturally in through your nose and out through your nose.
If it feels right for you,
You can place a hand on your belly so you can feel that breath coming in and out and a place on your heart so you can just connect with yourself.
So now we'll take five minutes and it will be silent.
I won't talk,
But know that I'm here with you.
So now we'll take five minutes and we'll be here with you.
So now we'll take five minutes and we'll be here with you.
Keep breathing and keep your eyes closed.
It is normal to have different seasons of our lives.
It is normal to experience the full range of human emotions.
What's hard about these things is just learning to be with ourselves during it and also learning to be with others while we're going through it.
But it's important that we are able to do this,
That we're able to be there for ourselves and let others be there for us too.
I'm so honored to be there for you today.
Take a deep breath in.
As you let it out,
You can open your eyes and move on with the rest of your day.
You are doing it right.
