I want to guide you along to a two minute body scan live in real time to a piece of relaxing piano music.
So you can use this for sleep,
For deep focus,
For relaxation,
Whatever you like.
Just go ahead and get set up sitting upright in a chair with good back support or lying down and closing your eyes when you feel ready.
And just go ahead and take a deep,
Slow breath in through your nose and breathe out slowly,
Relax fully.
And let's begin bringing the attention to the top of your head and moving in a rhythm to the forehead,
Down to the nose and the jaw,
The front of your neck,
Your shoulders,
Arms,
Upper arms,
Lower arms,
Palms,
And all of the fingers.
Move back to your chest and feel the energy in your chest with the breath and down to the stomach and the pelvic bowl,
The upper legs,
The knees,
Lower legs,
The feet and the toes.
Feel the legs and the feet all as one with the breath and expand up into the torso and the arms and hands and all the way up through to the top of the head and feel the body head to toe with the breath all at once.
Relaxed and effortless,
Letting go of tension as you exhale slowly.
And just rest in that state of total relaxation in the silence for a moment of total restoration as you are focused on the stillness and just consciously bring that quality of stillness and presence back to the moment with you one moment at a time at your pace.
