
Breathing Serenade Cosmic Deep Sleep Meditation: Major Wow
In this Yoga-Nidra style sleep meditation that combines a body scan with simple double inhale breathwork, we'll go deep into a self-sensory serenade that will have us riding the cosmic river with pleasant transcendence. Music: "Starry Sky" by Dennis Hallstrom.

Hey,
It's Cyrus.
Welcome to this breathing serenade sleep meditation where we're gonna combine body scanning with deep breathing to lull you into one of the deepest sleeps of your life.
If that sounds good,
Go ahead and get your environment set up to support you in a deep sleep.
Make it nice and dark and cool and adjust anything to your desired settings.
And when you feel ready,
Gently,
Delicately climb into your bed.
Feel yourself effortlessly,
Softly landing,
Arranging your body into a position that feels easy and floating.
For tonight's session,
We're gonna use double inhales and a long exhale.
So it'll be a long inhale followed by a short second inhale and then a long exhale.
So I invite you to follow along with me for the first one now.
Breathing deep in and a second short and a long exhale.
Again,
Enjoying finding a rhythm as you breathe in again with a double inhale.
Decompressing,
Two more like that,
Breathing in.
Last one,
Deepest one.
And a long sigh.
Let yourself land into the support deeply,
Nice and easy.
Feel the clarity in your mind opening up with the breath.
Feel the body becoming looser and more expansive as you sink pleasantly into the bed.
And notice any thoughts emanating from the thinking mind beginning to move to the background.
Give yourself permission to deprioritize them now.
You can scoop them up tomorrow.
But for now,
Feel yourself intentionally shifting gears into intentional restfulness.
Take all the pressure off sleep for now and just enjoy the art of resting purposefully in this liminal space between waking and deep sleep.
And notice any tension in the body,
Any subtle accumulation of energy from the day.
If it feels safe,
Just let it float up and be there.
And be felt so it can be processed instead of following you into the dream world.
Simply feel the sensations in the body of any tension or suppressed energy that feels safe to feel into.
And allow it to be there instead of pushing it down.
Just imagine it like a wave that wants to peak and then crests at its own pace.
And you're just holding space for it delicately in the body.
If you're still trying to control any aspect of that energy,
Just get curious as you let it flow spontaneously through you.
And witness its flow,
Riding it with your attention like you're on a surfboard,
Flowing with it instead of against it.
And notice how as you stay with it,
It wants to decompress and dissolve.
And simply allow it to burn up and crackle out of your body.
To evaporate into the universe.
And feel yourself becoming lighter and lighter as you completely unburden yourself.
Of any lingering energy from the day.
As you sense the space that you've opened up that you can head into a restful sleep alongside.
Enjoying that blissful open space as we re-engage the breath with a delicate patience.
Breathing in for that double inhale again.
And again.
One more time,
Savoring the breath.
Beginning the body scan at the top of your head,
Feeling the energy dancing at the crown,
Dropping all thoughts and distractions now as you connect single pointedly to the top of the head.
And allowing your attention to serenade its way down to the forehead.
And trickling down to the bridge of the nose.
Feeling the soothing caress of the breath as it flows into the nostrils.
And back out at its own pace.
Attending with a microscopic attention to that flow of breath at the nostrils.
And feeling the lips and the tongue,
The jaw and the front of the neck.
Feeling the heart.
Feel the gentle rhythm of the heart beat.
And again,
Enjoying a pleasant double inhale into the heart.
And then parting your attention into the shoulders.
And the biceps.
And the triceps.
And the elbows.
The inner forearms.
And the outer forearms.
The wrists.
And the electricity dancing at the palms of your hands.
Feel the blood pumping at the backs of your hands.
And the attention rounding into the thumbs.
The index fingers.
Trickling back down and around into the middle fingers.
The ring fingers.
And the pinky fingers.
And now a simple,
Smooth double inhale into the hands and fingers.
And allowing the attention to gently travel back up the arms into the upper back.
Feel the middle back.
And the solar plexus at the upper belly.
And again,
Enjoying a double inhale at the solar plexus.
And finding your way down to the lower back.
And the lower belly.
Breathing in to the lower belly.
Feeling the hips.
The glutes.
The pelvic bowl.
And feeling the hamstrings.
Maintaining that gentle,
Single-pointed attention as you breathe in.
As you rise to feel the quads at the front of the thighs.
Noticing your knees.
Your calf muscles.
And your shins.
The energy dancing into your ankles.
Your heels.
The soles of your feet.
And the tops of your feet.
Your toes.
And breathing in to the feet now.
Double inhale.
Again,
All the way down to the feet.
One more time,
Pleasantly washing down to the feet.
And feeling the attention emerge from the feet all the way up the legs.
So that you're feeling the legs and the feet dancing with quiet life energy at the same time.
And feel the attention raise and wash steadily up into the torso.
So that you're feeling the torso and the legs and feet all at once.
In a smooth,
Easy flow of quiet vibration.
And feel it wash into the arms and the hands.
Slowly.
Stably.
Enjoying that full body flow as it rises all the way through the neck.
Through the face all the way to the top of the head.
Head to toe,
Buzzing with quiet vibration.
In a relaxed,
Effortless focus.
Feel yourself vibing with the vibration.
Dancing with the dancing energy.
As you simply enjoy experiencing yourself head to toe.
Feel the breath ebbing and flowing at its own pace.
Enhancing the relaxation and effortless sensations being experienced head to toe.
Allow your mind to fall into your body.
To become one with the physical experiencing of yourself.
In a relaxed and enjoyable way.
And let's do a few more double inhales and exhales at a slower pace than ever before.
Breathing in.
Pausing and resting for a moment in between each one.
Feeling the body.
And again.
Pausing,
Resting deeply.
And again.
Breathing naturally as you pause in the bliss of rest.
Slightly deeper and slower now.
Effortlessly soaking in the silence.
Effortlessly soaking in the rest.
Last one.
Deepest and slowest one.
Feeling your body merging with the space around you.
If it feels safe and good.
Just sensing yourself merging into the space that surrounds and supports you.
Feel the quiet vibrations of the entire universe dancing closely alongside you.
Flowing with them and enjoying that flow.
If anything arises in your consciousness,
Simply imagine yourself opening the mental palm of your hand and allowing it to fly away.
And then dropping back into the space within and all around you as one.
Feeling and sensing that vibration soothing you.
Effortlessly deepening your rest.
Feel your breath connecting you intimately to the space around you.
Allowing it to become indistinguishable from you.
As you sink into the soothing river of the cosmos.
Allowing yourself to float along its wondrous surface.
Feel it serenading you to sleep with sounds and sensations you didn't even know existed.
If it feels good,
Allow your mind to be evaporated into the flow of these sensations.
And simply become one with their soothing,
Restful,
Pleasant energy.
Continue to let go,
Continue to flow at your pace and rhythm.
There's no rush in this space,
There's only the depth of this moment.
As you connect to it and allow it to carry you effortlessly into the space of easy,
Deep sleep.
At whatever pace flows naturally.
