Welcome,
Dear soul.
Thank you for joining the mindful remedy for our Yoga Nidra practice.
I encourage you to become as comfortable as possible.
We will enter a state of deep relaxation and when we finish,
You will be refreshed and rejuvenated.
We will heal in this practice and practice affirmations while under a state of deep relaxation.
Now lie on your back and perhaps place something under your knees to help support your lower back and see if you can become even 10% more comfortable.
Close your eyes and notice your breath.
Allow yourself to shift if you need to shift and then bring yourself back into comfort.
Relax.
Close your eyes,
Take a deep breath in and as you breathe out,
Feel the cares and worries of the day flow out of you.
Allow yourself a moment of silence.
Now is the time to make your resolve or sankalpa.
The resolve should be simple.
Maybe you already have one planned or something comes spontaneously.
This should be a short positive statement in simple language.
Perhaps it will begin with I am or I will or I am becoming or you can borrow one of ours.
I am loved.
I am rested and energized.
I am abundant.
State this resolve three times with awareness,
Feeling and emphasis.
Know it is true.
The resolve you make during yoga nidra is bound to come true in your life.
We will now begin to relax each body part.
Begin with the top of your head.
Begin a ball of shining,
Healing light just at the top of your crown.
Now bring it down to your right temple,
Your right cheekbone,
Your right cheek,
Your right eyeball,
Your right jaw,
The right side of your neck,
Your right collarbone.
Relax your right shoulder,
Right armpit,
Right side of your chest.
Relax your upper arm,
Your right bicep,
Your right elbow,
Your forearm,
Your right wrist.
Relax the palm of your right hand and the back of your right hand.
Begin your right thumb,
Right index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
Pinky finger.
Bring your awareness to the right side of your chest.
Relax the right side of your abdomen and your entire waist.
Right hamstring,
Right thigh,
Right knee.
Relax your right calf muscle,
Your right ankle,
Your right heel,
Sole of your foot,
Top of your foot,
And your toes.
Relax your right big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe,
And fifth toe.
Relax the entire right side of your body.
Now bring the healing beautiful ball of light and awareness up to your crown.
Let it travel and heal your left temple,
Your left cheekbone,
Your left eyeball,
Your left cheek.
Begin to relax the left side of your jaw,
Your left side of your neck,
Your left collarbone down to your left shoulder.
Relax your left armpit,
Your left bicep,
Your left upper arm,
Left elbow,
Your forearm,
Your left wrist.
Relax the palm of your left hand,
The back of your left hand.
Relax your left thumb,
Left index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
Right pinky.
Then the left side of your chest,
The left side of your abdomen,
And your entire waist.
Relax your left hip,
Hamstring,
Thigh,
Kneecap.
Relax your left ankle.
Relax your left calf,
Ankle,
Heel,
The sole of your foot,
The top of your left foot and your left toes.
Relax your left big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe,
And fifth toe.
Relax the entire left side of your body and inhale and exhale.
Feel the peace of your body now and relax your jaw.
Allow your tongue to hang in the back of your mouth.
Notice your inhale and exhale.
Do not try to change the rhythm.
Allow the breathing to be natural.
There is no effort.
You are fully,
Deeply relaxed in this yoga nidra practice.
Now listen to these healing words and feel them soak into your deep subconscious and conscious mind.
I am loved.
I am loving.
I am lovable.
I am healed.
Every day I wake up stronger,
Better,
More aware,
More capable.
I am healing.
I am connected to my inner strength and power.
I have everything within me to achieve my goals.
I am strong,
Smart,
And so ready to take on whatever comes my way.
I am healed.
I am fulfilled.

I am capable.
We will have a moment of silence as those words soak in.
