This circle of light meditation is a super simple daily energy preparation and maintenance practice that will help you create a sense of being protected,
Collected,
Focused,
Present and grounded.
It is wonderful for the energetic health and harmony of your system to help you prepare yourself before you go about your daily tasks and at the end of the day when you are ready to finish off your day and have a good night's rest.
This meditation can be done sitting,
Standing or even lying quietly,
Rarely in any position and can take from just a moment to a few minutes depending on the amount of time that you have available to spend on it.
So let's begin now,
With a gentle breath in and out and visualize or imagine a line running from the top of your head,
From your crown chakra,
Down all the way along your spine and then visualize that line extending down to your tailbone and further down beyond your feet.
And as you breathe I invite you to visualize yourself drawing your energy in with your in-breath and gathering all your energy from your extremities of your body and moving it along towards your core center line.
As you do this make sure to gather any thoughts and feelings,
Worries,
Concerns or conversations,
Any to-do lists that may be swirling through your mind,
Your emotions and body.
Gather everything inwards towards that core center line and then as you exhale slowly allow it to move gently down that line and you can visualize or imagine that it's weaving along your spine as it goes,
Continuing its downwards movement and coming to rest in your pelvis,
In the base anchor point of your body.
So gently breathing in and gathering and exhaling and moving the energy down into your pelvis.
And once you have repeated this about two or three times and you feel like you've become more present and collected and centered,
Then once again imagine the core center line and visualize yourself moving upwards and along it now towards your crown chakra,
The point at the top of your head.
And this time visualize a beautiful white light pouring over your crown and moving down through your body,
Through all the layers of your being,
Through each and every cell and rinsing any residues,
Any areas of fatigue,
Disconnection or discomfort,
Softening your whole body with each breath all the way down,
Down beyond your feet and into the earth below for recycling.
The earth loves to recycle old,
Blocked and stuck energy.
It is excellent at transforming and transmuting it and turning the renewed life force back into pure source energy as it goes.
So in this way now you've gathered your energy first and then cleared and released any imbalances,
Any residues that you don't want or need.
And again you can repeat this with two or three breaths,
Rinsing each time any energy that no longer serves you from your personal space.
Next visualize a beautiful golden light pouring in through your crown,
Moving down through your core line once again and this time imagine that golden light is moving outward,
Filling not only your physical body but also imagine it extending outwards into your auric field,
Which is the energy around your physical body.
And as you continue with your breath,
Imagine it extending outward until you have built a beautiful circle of golden light surrounding your whole body.
And you can imagine this as big or wide as you feel comfortable with,
But it must contain your entire body above and below your feet.
And again,
Extending outward,
Take about two or three breaths,
Allowing this beautiful golden circle of light around you to develop and stabilize,
Creating what will be a powerful energy field of light surrounding you,
To move with you and keep you protected,
Connected and aligned wherever you go for your day or night.
And now the final part of the process,
Visualize a beautiful electrical blue membrane,
Film or shield surrounding your golden circle of light and this is the shield that will hold the field in place,
Making sure that no unwanted energies can permeate your field,
Only allowing the energies that you want into your personal space.
And with a good gentle in and out breath,
Making sure that your alignment feels nice and solid,
The core line gathered,
Collected,
Centered and anchored,
The beautiful golden circle of light surrounding you completely and the electrical blue field of the shield in place.
You are now ready to go on with your day or move onwards towards a good night's rest.
