It's important to know that spiritual practice is very much about facing obstacles,
The obstacles that we often have to confront in everyday life,
But also obstacles that the mind creates within the subconscious.
A reminder in spiritual practice is to find strength,
Confidence,
Courage in the nurturing that you create that then becomes a foundation that helps you to move through the journey with a momentum that carries you through rather than a struggle that requires your energy or requires you to push through the different types of situations,
Obstacles that arise in everyday life.
Nurturing is not what people think.
Nurturing is not about going on a holiday or watching a movie,
Entertaining yourself with whatever around,
Distracting yourself with this or that.
Nurture is about creating a system that allows for your mind to release stress.
When you sit in meditation,
Very often the mind will create activity,
More activity,
Or at least you'll be aware of the activity in a more focused way,
That is healing,
It's a release of stress.
When we come still,
We let go of the external disturbances,
The mental emotional disturbances that's also external to your awareness,
And let that go and just come back to this moment and focus on awareness itself.
Then awareness expands into this wisdom that is the core of every human being.
Meditation is a portal,
A beautiful portal.
As you breathe in and breathe out,
Remind yourself you're not alone.
Deep breath,
Knowing that you are supported.
Thank you.
