Welcome to tranquil sleep meditation.
My name is Jacqueline and I'm going to take you on a sleep journey where I will leave you to enjoy a tranquil night's sleep.
So if you are ready settle into your most comfortable sleep position as you snuggle into your bed.
Move your body until you feel really comfy.
Pull the covers around you and enjoy their warmth as your body nestles a little more.
Now take a deep breath as deep as you like as you prepare for our journey.
Close your eyes and breathe in.
Hold that breath for a moment and now gently allow the breath to flow out.
Breathe in,
Hold that breath and release it as you feel your body relaxing.
This is your time to sleep,
Your time to relax and leave the day behind.
Now as you breathe allow the breaths to be a little longer than normal.
Breathe in,
In,
In and breathe out.
Breathe in,
In,
In and breathe out.
Now breathe in your own rhythm as you allow yourself to relax.
It's nearly time to start our journey as your body relaxes a little more.
Allow your forehead to relax,
Allow your eyes to relax,
Allow your cheeks to relax,
Allow your jaw to relax,
Allow your head to relax into your pillow.
Enjoying the comfort it brings as you feel yourself relaxing more and more.
Now allow your whole body to relax in your bed as peace and stillness begin to take over.
Allowing you to relax more and more.
As your body relaxes your mind begins to wander on its own journey of relaxation.
It wanders outside your house.
There you see a car waiting for you,
A beautiful luxurious car.
The car door opens for you and you climb inside and settle on to the comfortable seat.
There is a soft blanket lying on the seat.
You wrap it around you and appreciate its warmth.
The car door closes quietly and you notice that there is no driver.
This is a car of the future,
A car which drives itself.
The car is going to take you for a ride.
The only thing you have to do is sit back and enjoy it.
The car sets off and you are amazed how smooth the ride is.
Almost as if the car is floating.
No bumps,
Just a smooth ride.
As you look out of the window you notice it is daylight outside and the sun is shining.
You are in your neighborhood and the car takes you down streets and lanes you have traveled along many times.
You pass by your friends houses and then drive through your town,
Past shops which are familiar to you.
As you enjoy the drive you remember things you need to do,
People you have not contacted for a while,
Places you want to explore.
You make a mental note of these and then allow the thoughts to dissolve as the scenery around you changes.
As your mind begins to settle and your body relaxes a little more you notice ahead of you is a long road and you can see for miles.
There are no other cars on the road and there's nothing in your way as you look at the beautiful landscape laid out before you.
As the car travels along you see things which make you smile.
You see things that warm your heart.
You see things that you've always longed to see.
You feel relaxed and content as you enjoy everything you see.
All of a sudden you begin to notice that the sun is setting and it's getting darker now.
Day turns to night and the sky begins to fill with stars as darkness settles around you.
The car begins to take you back to your house and as it does so you hear calming words.
I am well.
I am happy.
I am calm.
I am fulfilled.
I am me.
I am enough.
I am love.
You feel warm and comfortable as you absorb the positive energy from these words.
Every cell in your body embraces the goodness they fill you with.
You arrive back at your house and just as you get out of the car you see a bright star in the sky.
A star far brighter than any others around it.
You make a wish,
Something you have desired for a while but never believed possible to have before now.
You find yourself back in your bed,
Warm and cozy.
A smile sweeps over you as you see your wish beginning to manifest.
You snuggle into your bed as you sense how amazing it will feel when your wish is fulfilled.
As you settle to sleep you trust and know that the universe will deliver.
With a contented smile and an inner warmth you allow sleep to wrap around you.
You feel so happy as sleep travels down your body,
Over your head and shoulders,
Around your arms and hands,
Over your chest,
Back and stomach,
Over your legs and around your feet.
You are relaxed,
You are content,
You are peaceful,
You are ready to sleep.
