Hello,

I'm Vimala Sara.

Welcome to day 9,

Exploring loving kindness by reflecting on the heart.

Loving kindness is a tough feeling to cultivate and all of us need to practice cultivating loving kindness.

The Dalai Lama has been quoted in saying,

Loving kindness is my religion.

If you are in recovery,

Loving kindness could be your religion too.

Loving kindness could be your daily practice too.

Take it up for a week and see what happens in your life.

Open up your heart and see what happens.

As you listen to the song written by Ana Hernandez and sung by the songsters,

Have a sense of breathing deep into your heart.

Perhaps place a hand on your heart and breathe into the heart and hand.

Every time your mind wanders,

Gets caught up in thinking,

Just bring it back gently and kindly to the words being sung.

So let's take a deep breath in and gently breathe out.

Get yourself comfortable wherever you are and surrender to listening to the song.
