For today's meditation,
We'll be focusing on easing into your day.
Waking up feeling glorious.
Rejuvenated.
Feeling rested.
And ready to begin your day.
I'll invite you to find a comfortable seated position.
Allowing the sit bones to root into whatever is supporting you.
Sitting up.
Put a tone.
And straight spine.
But still feeling comfortable and relaxed in your body.
When it feels okay for you,
You can gently close the eyes or lower the gaze.
And then start to find your breath.
And as you connect to your breath.
Notice the expansion of the body on the inhale.
And the suffering of the body on the exhale.
As you focus on the breath.
Notice if the body is holding on to any areas of tension.
And as you locate these areas of tension,
Just notice what might be happening for you.
And as we give space to tune into the body.
I invite you to notice any other sensations coming up.
As you sit here in stillness and silence.
Noticing what's going on within the body and within the mind.
Creating space.
Between the moments.
And the day ahead of you.
And always remembering that moments like these can happen throughout the day.
Pockets of silence.
Pockets of stillness.
Coming back to yourself whenever you may need to.
Now I'll invite you to bring your awareness to your thoughts.
Just notice the thoughts passing by.
One by one.
On a conveyor belt.
And just notice each thought for what it is.
Nothing is right or wrong.
Nothing is better or worse.
See if you can detach from any judgement.
Really paying attention to what these thoughts may be trying to tell you.
A thought is just a thought.
And sometimes we place so much of our energy on these thoughts.
That maybe don't serve us as much as we think they do.
And whatever thoughts arrive in your mind.
See if it serves you at the current moment.
Now for the last few seconds,
Last few moments of this meditation,
I'll invite you to look outwards.
Notice yourself in the room that you may be in.
Notice that you are a human.
Try your best.
With what you have.
With the level of awareness you have.
At every moment of the day.
You are a human with thoughts,
Body sensations.
Just picture yourself.
In this room.
In silence,
In stillness.
Just making a mental note of how you want to feel throughout the day.
Whatever the day might bring you.
Whatever might happen.
And just soaking in these last few moments.
You are welcomed to stay here for as long as you need.
We have come to the end of our meditation.
Thank you so much for listening and I wish you a great day ahead.
