Take a breath in through the nose and then sigh it out through the mouth.

Now do it again but slower this time.

Inhale expanding gently and then exhale letting the weight fall away and with each breath feel yourself arriving here in this moment.

The room fades into the background in your to-do list phase and only this breath remains.

Now imagine deep within your body there's a golden thread.

It's fine delicate and glowing softly.

It runs straight through your center from the base of your spine through all the way to your heart,

Your throat,

Your forehead,

Stretching upward into the sky.

And it also runs downward through your feet and into the soil,

Into the stone,

Into the molten heart of the earth itself.

Unbroken,

Unwavering and eternal.

Now focus on the golden thread.

Notice how steady it is.

Your breath may rise and fall.

Thoughts may come and go but the thread it doesn't move.

Its presence itself.

It's always here.

So breathe with it.

Imagine the inhale rising upward along the golden thread from the root to the ground and as you exhale the energy flows back down incurring you to the earth.

So do this slowly.

Breathing up the thread and breathing down the thread.

Each cycle making it brighter and each breath reminding you presence is not something you create.

It's something you notice.

So now bring your awareness to your body.

Notice the crown of your head and imagine the golden thread touching there.

Shining and anchoring you to the open sky.

Now notice your forehead.

The golden thread glows through the third eye reminding you that clarity is always here beneath confusion.

And then notice the throat.

The thread hums there steadying your voice and steadying your truth.

And now notice the heart.

The golden thread runs right through softening you reminding you of the presence beneath every joy and every ache.

And now notice your belly.

A thread glows through your core a reminder of strength that never leaves.

Now notice your legs and notice your feet.

The golden thread continues down down into the earth as if the whole planet is cradling you.

Now let the thread guide your awareness.

So repeat silently with the breath.

In this moment I am here.

In this breath I am steady.

In this silence I am whole.

And whenever thoughts rise,

Imagine them brushing against the thread sliding down in a way like raindrops on golden silk.

And the thread does not move.

It holds.

It shines.

And it simply is.

So rest here for a while.

Breathing slowly as the golden thread rises and falls within you.

Notice how it connects to heaven and earth through you.

Notice how it never wavers.

Even as your body shifts and even as your mind wanders,

The thread always remains.

This is presence.

Not something to chase and not something to build.

But the unbroken awareness that has always been here carrying you through every moment of your life.

So take three deep breaths slowly,

Still aware of the golden thread.

And on the inhale feel yourself rooted deep into the earth.

And on the exhale feel yourself stretching into the infinite sky.

You're rooted.

You're open.

And you're whole.

And when you open your eyes now,

Carry this thread with you into the day.

And let it remind you that no matter what happens,

No matter what storms come,

You are always tethered to the present.

Good work today and namaste.
