And today's subject that we were invited to use as an excuse to be here was how to bridge the gap between unconditional love and the corporate world that demands us to be competitive on the expense of the other.
How can we do that?

How does consciousness present itself in business?
Consciousness presents itself in the present moment,
As the present moment.
It could be a restful hike in the mountains.
It could be a very stressed meeting in the office.
Consciousness is behind the manifestation of everything that is currently happening.
It's like asking me,
How is this cloud that I'm currently looking at,
How is the consciousness represented in the cloud?
The cloud is there because the skies are there.
Without the skies,
There can be no clouds.
Our consciousness is there,
Allowing reality to manifest.
The context of the manifestation is not that important.
You see what I'm saying?
You will have to come to a point when you cease to split reality into a dual existence.
This versus that.
Spirituality versus materialism.
This duality doesn't really exist.
If I have to operate in the material world,
I cannot be spiritual.
The values are contradicting.
I tell you,
There is no spiritual value.
There are material values,
For sure,
Because in the material world,
We need to operate within the context of the game that we are currently playing.
The game can be different in various occasions,
Various cultures.
When we go to a business trip in Japan,
We need to know the behavioral codes,
What is accepted,
What is unaccepted.
We don't want to offend anybody just because we are ignorant.
It's good that we come prepared and we play by the rules of the game over there.
This has got to do with our choices of what to do and what to refrain from doing.
But consciousness is there beyond these questions of right doing and wrong doing.
Rumi has a beautiful saying,
Out there,
Beyond ideas about right doing and wrong doing,
There is a field.
I will meet you there.
You see what I'm saying?
Spirituality has no rules,
No values that it protects.
We cannot be free if there is a value out there that is more important than the present moment as it happens right now,
As it manifests.
You see what I'm saying?
So that artificial duality,
Sooner or later you come to a point where you realize there is no conflict between the two.
They don't exist in a different realm,
In the same realm.
What you choose to do or refrain from doing belongs to the realm of doing.
But what you are has everything to do with your being and nothing to do with your doing.
It's a different realm altogether.
So next time you experience a conflict,
Remind yourself,
That's just an illusion.
That's the observer confusing the clouds with the sky.

Business is defined by lack.
Lack of profits,
Market share,
Return on investment,
Which then pushes those in business to feel the same lack.
Is that not counter to your guidance of not engaging with life from lack?
Business could be propelled by a sense of lack,
Yes.
But not necessarily.
Can there be business,
Can there be involvement in business,
But without a sense of lack?
The fact that most players in this field are propelled by lack doesn't mean that you have to be dancing to the same music.
You can be very successful in what you do.
You can excel in what you do,
Devoid of lack.
Because there is another force replacing lack that you choose to harness to motivate you to excel.
And that force is called,
How does it go,
Love.
You see,
You know the answer already.
Yeah.
Can you be successful in business without a sense of lack?
I need,
I want,
What will I gain out of that?
Definitely.
As we speak,
People are changing the world,
Driven by love,
Not by lack.
Love doesn't know lack.
Lack is the opposite of lack.
Love is an expression of abundance.
Abundance cannot know lack.
You know,
If you realize that you are the well,
You are the fresh water,
You cannot be thirsty anymore.
You see what I'm saying?
You are the well.
And every time you went out there looking,
Begging for some water,
That was because of ignorance,
Lack of self-knowledge.
Now that you realize,
I am the wealth,
I am that,
Now you can go out to the world and share that,
Change the world,
For sure.
But you're not propelled by lack anymore.
And the alternative to lack is not stagnation or,
You know,
Apathy.
People think if I'm not hungry,
Why would I,
You know,
Do anything?
What's the motivation there?
Why search for food if I'm not hungry?
No,
No,
That's an illusion.
Because we are so identified with that type of motivation based on lack,
Then we even don't recognize that there can be another type.
As powerful,
Even more powerful.
Fearless,
Free of fear of gain and loss.
You go and change the world.
And if you feel,
If you encounter people that are driven by lack,
By that sense of I need to win,
I need to,
On the expense of the other,
You know,
I need to prove that I'm better.
When will I be happy?
When I have more?
I have more and I can create more wealth so people would appreciate me more,
Etc.

Etc.
If you see these people,
Just open your heart,
Have compassion.
Know that they are still driven by ignorance,
Lack of self-knowledge,
That's it.
No judgment.
Don't try to persuade them otherwise.
Don't try to convince them that you are right and they are wrong and you can see and they are blind.
That won't work.
You just shine your light.
Open your heart.
Let unconditional love flow through you and the way it manifests will take care of itself.
Don't worry about that.
And if they recognize that,
If they are sensitive enough to recognize that,
That's fantastic.
And if they are not and they are too preoccupied with their own shit,
That's okay too.
Just have compassion.

The reality of existence in a materialistic society that teaches and urges for consumption and accumulation seem counter to love,
Seems to be the ultimate conflict.
No.
There is no conflict.
Don't convince yourself that life exists in conflict.
Just expand your vision to see the totality of it.
Yes,
There is always a dance between masculine and feminine energy.
There is always a dance between the energy that expands and the energy that contracts.
And that balance allows life to exist.
So there is one pool to grow,
To develop,
To expand,
To explore,
To find new and exciting realms of life.
And there is that voice that calls everything back home to the singular point where everything started from.
These two eternal forces exist and dance with each other.
It's not a problem.
It's not a conflict.
Or if you can say,
If you want to refer to it as a conflict,
Then this is a conflict that is weaved into the essence of life itself.
It's designed by the creator to work together like that,
To dance together.
Imagine if there was always only that expansion force,
Life could not exist on the physical realm.
We would be dispersed into nothingness long ago.
And if there was only the feminine that tries to bring everything back together to the singular point where everything emerged from,
Then life could not exist on the physical realm.
It would shrink into nothingness long ago.
So there is this balance.
If you want to call it a conflict,
That's okay.
But it's a balance that allows life to exist and develop and allow consciousness to experience and grow through that.
It's not a problem.
It's the way it is designed that's so beautiful,
That's so mysterious.
Don't make it a problem that you need to solve,
Not for yourself and not for the sake of humanity.
It's not a problem.
Just relax in it.
Enjoy it.
Enjoy that dance.
Sometimes masculinity is required,
Sometimes femininity is required.
Find that balance within you and then you recognize there is balance all around you.
And if there isn't,
You can be contributing your own balance to rebalance,
To reharmonize whatever is around you.
It could be your contribution.

If you try to pick up a fruit from the tree before it's ripe,
There is no use for that fruit,

When it's ripe,
It will fall by itself.
You don't even have to lift up your hand.
It's naturally happening.
So don't try to rush it.
You be unconditional love.
You be an expression of that.
And the rest will take care of itself.
Don't worry.
What else?
I guess it feels challenging to be this balanced,
Enlightened expression of oneself,
Trying to play this game that seems in conflict.
And I suppose sometimes it feels like you're not being loving or expressing unconditional love when you are needing to exhibit some of those,
What we might call masculine characteristics to play the game that seem harsh and competitive and directive and hurting other people and,
You know,
Climbing over top of others and all this conflict and competition that's required to play that game.
It feels like splitting yourself into two different places.
It's an illusion.
Don't.
Don't split yourself.
You be an expression of your own truth,
Which is unconditional love.
And sometimes unconditional love manifests in the masculine and sometimes it manifests in the feminine.
Sometimes unconditional love puts boundaries.
Sometimes people need boundaries and you put them for them because you love them unconditionally.
You know,
Sometimes a parent has to say to his child,
That's it.
That's the line.
And you cannot cross it.
Why?
Because children sometimes need a boundary,
Right?
They need our responsibility as an adult,
As the responsible adult is to give that boundary.
And we don't do that because it's our duty or our responsibility.
We do it because we love them,
Right?
Sometimes you suggest a boundary,
Yes?
This is the line and it's not okay if you cross it.
But see that you put that line unconditionally.
There is no personal interest there for you.
If you cross that line,
That will somehow offend me.
The line is there for you.
You see what I'm saying?
You are just the messenger here.
The messenger of unconditional love.
It's not that I'm threatened somehow by your behavior and I need you to stop.
Unconditional love cannot be threatened,
Cannot be afraid.
Love and fear are opposite values.
They cannot live together.
Either you are afraid or you are loving.
So sometimes a boundary is required and you are there lovingly giving it.
And you say,

This is it,
That's the line.
But what motivates you,
What drives you to do something is not fear,
Is not a sense of lack,
But the opposite,
It's love.
You need love,
You need a line and I'm lovingly giving it to you.
And how would you know if that line that you give,
That border that you place is not out of egoic lack,
Your own lack,
Your own fear.
You make sure that you are not contracted when doing it.
You are loose.
You are relaxed.
You are not intimidated.

So when do we feel remorse or regret?

When do we feel remorse or regret?
When does that happen?
It happens when we decide to do something,
But we are not fully committed to that.
We don't surrender into it.
We keep one leg here and one leg there,

We are in doubt whether this is what we should have done,
Or maybe it should have been something else.
You know,
Doubt is that poison that doesn't allow us to fully commit.
It keeps us tied to the fence,
You know?
Doubt is that force that keeps us on the fence.
Trying to make up our mind,
Should we go left or should we go right?
Where should we go?
Where would be more beneficial or less offensive to other people?
Where will I gain more?
Where will I lose less?
All that drama of making a decision.
And what happens while we're in doubt on the fence?
Life happens,
Right?
It happens in both sides of the fence.
But we are not totally engaged because we didn't make up our mind yet.
So we are not taking a part in life as it happens.
My suggestion is burn the doubt.
Make a decision and commit to it 100%.
Don't be a victim of conflicting thoughts trying to pull you back to the fence.
Wait,
Wait,
Wait.
Maybe you didn't think about this.
Doesn't matter.
I tell you,
It doesn't matter.
That's the truth.
It doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter if you chose to go left or right.
It seems so important.
It seems so dramatic.
But that's an artificial drama that doesn't really exist.
It doesn't matter if your life goes on the left or on the right.
They say all the rivers flow to the ocean.
It doesn't matter if it flows from the left or from the right.
Eventually they will reunite.
The ocean doesn't care if you chose to go from the left or from the right.
You belong to the ocean.
You are coming back to the ocean.
That's it.
All drama about should I do this or that,
This is just a fallacy.
It's not real.
You have to expand beyond that illusion of how important my decision is,
How it influences my life,
How it influences the life of the other.
What is much more important is that you choose,
Get off the fence,
Choose and allow yourself to be completely committed to your choice,
Surrender to the consequences of your choices.
This is a successful life,
A life that is filled with remorse and regret and doubt and fear,
Is not fully lived.
But if you are able to commit to your choice and surrender to the consequences of your choice,
Whatever,
That's much more important,
I tell you.
Because moment to moment you are available to experience life as it happens,
Free of conflicting ideas about it.
If you wash your dishes and you believe somebody else should have washed the dishes,
Not you,
That's it,
You're in the drama,
You're lost.
But if you wash the dishes fully committed,
100% present,
You will be surprised to find God in the soap bubbles of the dishes that you currently wash.
You see what I'm saying?
Be present.

That's a bit harsh.
Again,
See if you can zoom out from the specific events of your story and see the big context.
We win some,
We lose everything.
We are here to gracefully let go of everything we believe we hold,

And then we lose,

We lose,
Until we are completely lost.
Even your body will be lost,
It's just a matter of time.
Sometimes we play the good guy,

Don't get too hung up on any specific role that life calls you to play in a given situation.
Sometimes I need you to carry a child,
Sometimes I need you to kill a child.
Don't get too identified with any role life calls you to play.
Remember,
It's just a play.
And soon lights will turn off,
Everybody will run to the backstage,
Change costumes,
Change roles,
Come back to the front of the stage again and play a different play,
Different game,
Different costumes.
It's all a part of the big play.
Don't be too hung up to any specific role,
Too identified with it.
Just make sure that your choices are not led by fear,
By a sense of lack,
By ignorance.
Make sure that your choices,
While on the stage playing the game,
Are led by knowledge,
By love,
By a sense of surrender to reality as it happens,
As it manifests.
That's it.
If you fire 200 people and believe that this was a mistake,
You should not fire those 200 people,
Guaranteed you're stuck in the drama.
This shouldn't have happened,
Something else should have happened.
Then you're in the gap,
You see that?
But if you fire those 200 people,
Realizing it's the right thing to do,
And unfortunately you are the one that has to do it,
Then you submit to that.
Gracefully accept that position,
Knowing that next round you could be the one that is being fired.
And that next round could be next year,
Or next lifetime,
Or in 10 lifetimes,
It doesn't matter.
What is important is that you commit to your decision and surrender to the consequences of those.
This is important.
It's important not just for your private life,
It's important for the universal consciousness.
Zoom out,
The big picture.
You are just an aspect of that consciousness that is there to experience life as it happens.
The question is,
Are you allowing it to experience itself in matter,
As matter?
