Welcome to this meditation grounded in self-trust.
Start by getting comfortable in your seat,
Placing your feet flat on the floor,
Feeling the arch of your feet and toes come in contact with the ground beneath you,
Straightening your back in a way that feels comfortable and without straining,
And letting your arms fall naturally on your lap.
Together we will take three deep breaths.
We'll start with a nice big deep breath in through your nose,
As you breathe,
Feeling your body relaxing.
And a long breath out,
Exhaling any tension.
Taking a second full breath in,
And a long breath out.
Last full breath in,
And a long breath out.
And allowing the breath to return back to normal,
Breathing in and out through your nose.
I invite you to release any remaining tension you might feel in your body,
Lowering your shoulders away from your ears,
Lowering your bottom jaw and your eyebrows to loosen any facial tension.
And I want you to imagine deep inside you is a smaller version of yourself,
About the size of your palm,
Resting in your center.
A version of yourself that trusts their intuition,
Doesn't second guess,
And isn't afraid of learning from their mistakes.
Because once upon a time,
The version of yourself that's currently in the foreground stopped.
Stopped having faith in yourself,
Stopped trusting what you saw and what you felt,
And stopped believing in your abilities.
Imagine that the version of yourself that's sitting at the center is ready to reconnect with your greatness,
And it's ready to disconnect from the story that once told you to stop trusting.
Now allowing that version of yourself to expand and grow,
Little by little,
Filling up your entire body.
Imagining it expanding slowly until it reaches the edges of your body.
Once it reaches the edges of your body,
You've allowed this self to take space in the forefront.
This self that is trusting,
It has clarity and confidence in your choices.
I invite you to repeat after me out loud or in your mind.
I believe my experiences.
I listen to my inner wisdom.
I see my unique abilities.
I will use my experiences,
My inner wisdom,
And my unique abilities without second guessing.
Having a moment here to feel and hold that version of you that was always there,
Allowing it to sit and take space in the foreground.
And now bringing your attention to the space around you.
Seeing the physical room before coming back.
And when you're ready,
You may gently open your eyes.
