Welcome to your meditation practice.

My name is Megha Tiwari and this is your gratitude meditation.

Gratitude is a powerful state of being.

To be thankful means to be content with what is.

Gratitude instantly brings us into the present moment,

Which is the only moment that exists.

Gratitude is a portal to connect with the divine,

To show appreciation for what was and what is,

And to rest in assurance and trust that what is meant for us will not pass us by in the future.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and out the mouth.

Let your whole body begin to relax.

Breathe in through your nose,

Out through your mouth.

Let your whole body and muscles and every cell of your body relax.

Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Release any tension or stress that you've been holding on to.

There's nothing else you have to focus on.

Just listen to my voice and do your best to follow along.

If at any time you lose track of what I'm saying,

That's perfectly fine.

You'll still get whatever you need from this meditation.

Today,

Let's take the time to show gratitude for past,

Present and future.

Feel free to repeat the following affirmations to yourself silently.

I am so thankful for the past experiences,

Opportunities and circumstances that answered my prayers in ways I know of and ways I don't know of.

I am so thankful for the past experiences,

Opportunities and circumstances that answered my prayers in ways I know of and ways I don't know of.

I am so thankful for today's experiences,

Opportunities,

Thoughts and actions that are answering my prayers in ways I know of and ways I don't know of.

I am so thankful for today's experiences,

Opportunities,

Thoughts and actions that are answering my prayers in ways I know of and ways I don't know of.

I am so thankful for the experiences,

Opportunities and circumstances that will come to answer my future prayers in ways I know of and ways I don't know of.

I am so thankful for the experiences,

Opportunities and circumstances that will come to answer my future prayers in ways I know of and ways I don't know of.

Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

There is a certain divine mystery that seems to give us exactly what we need in exactly the right moment,

Even if it doesn't feel that way in the moment.

Reflect on your past and you'll find that the right circumstances,

People and experiences have occurred in your life to bring you to where you are now.

This higher power seems to know us better than we know ourselves.

It is safe to relax into the uncertainty of the future.

Because after all,

We are not in control.

And we do not need to be in control.

The divine power knows what we need,

And always delivers.

Your only job is to be totally immersed in this moment.

Be free to stay in this state of gratitude for as long as you'd like.
