Begin by allowing your body to feel comfortable and still.
Close your eyes if you'd like,
Or just lower your gaze and start to take some slow,
Deep breaths in and out through your nose.
Each breath you breathe in helps you feel a little more relaxed until your body feels totally relaxed.
As you lie there completely still,
Let all of your thoughts,
Worries,
Concerns,
And fears go.
Pretend you are riding a wave,
Like surfing through the ocean.
Ride each wave for a big breath in,
Then imagine that wave disappearing again into the ocean.
As you breathe out,
Imagine a wave of peace washing over your mind with each breath.
As you breathe in,
Grab hold of each thought.
As you breathe out,
You send each one away like the waves of the ocean,
Washing away footprints in the sand.
Breathe in,
Riding that wave of thought.
Let it all go.
Breathe in,
Riding.
Now breathe out.
Breathe in,
Riding that wave of thought.
