So hi everyone and thank you for joining me.

So in your lives,

In your journeys,

Have you ever spent time with someone and walked away feeling completely exhausted?

Even though you were just sitting or in their company or in their presence.

Perhaps you have noticed how some people seem to leave you lighter and more energized and others leave you feeling heavy and drained.

Now this possibly could be your body's responses to different people and their energies.

The body's responses to different people are actually incredibly intelligent and feeling drained or energized by a certain individual could be valuable information.

So today we'll just explore how your body naturally responds to different energies and help you understand and mind your own energy field.

Now this isn't about judging others or avoiding people.

It's about honoring what your body tells you and learning to listen to it.

Find a comfortable position now where you won't be disturbed for the next few minutes and you can simply soften your gaze and if you feel safe close your eyes.

Now take a deep breath with me and as you exhale now feel yourself settling into your body into your own energy.

And we continue to breathe and every exhale I'm dropping more and more and more into the now,

Into my body.

Now just letting my words guide you and trusting whatever shows up for you.

So your body exists not just as flesh and bone but as an energy field that extends beyond your physical form.

Now you may have experienced this many times feeling someone's presence before you see them sensing something in a room or even knowing when someone is thinking about you.

Now your energy field is constantly interacting with the energy of the people around you and just like your immune system protects you from physical germs your energy field helps you navigate emotional and energetic influences.

Some people's energy aligns and harmonizes with yours and that looks like ease and flow and others may have energy that clashes with yours creating tension or exhaustion or tiredness.

And this is not anybody's fault it's just how different energy systems interact.

Now to recognize the drain let's explore how this shows up in your body.

Think of someone in your life who consistently leaves you feeling tired after spending time with them.

Just someone whose presence depletes your energy and remember we are not judging them this is just the experience that I have in their presence.

It could also be a place or it could be a person in your life.

I feel depleted around them,

Doesn't make them wrong.

I'm just exploring why I feel that way.

Bring this person gently to mind and notice what happens in your body.

Maybe your shoulders tensed up maybe there is heaviness in your chest maybe your stomach just got tight or your breathing became shallow.

You might notice a sense of weakness a sense of your energy being pulled inwards wanting to protect itself.

Now this could be your body's natural wisdom recognizing an energetic mismatch.

Your system is telling you that this person's energy doesn't harmonize well with yours.

And feel how your body responds even thinking about this person.

Notice where the tension gathers where the heaviness is.

And this is not imagination this is real information from your body.

Now let that image go and take a few cleansing breaths.

So our intention is as we breathe now we are just letting that image go.

And we are coming back to our neutrality,

To the now.

Now to see the other side of this think of someone now who makes you feel good or light,

Or energized,

Or positive if you use that word.

Someone who makes you feel good someone whose presence feels easy and comfortable.

Again it can be a person a place What happens in your body now?

Perhaps your breathing is more settled your shoulders are relaxed your hips have dropped and there's a warmth spreading in your heart.

This might feel like a sense of expansion like your energy field can now breathe freely and deeply.

Feel the difference between these two experiences now.

Your body knows the difference between people who energize you and people who drain you.

Often within moments or even before being in their presence.

And this is not about someone being good or someone being bad.

It's about energetic alignment.

Some energies blend harmoniously with mine and others create friction or depletion.

And there are many reasons why certain people might be energetically draining.

Some people carry heavy emotional burdens that they either haven't looked at or they haven't learned to process them or they are not even consciously aware that they have them.

And being around them,

Just being around them can feel like standing near an emotional storm and your sensitive system picks up on their inner turbulence.

Other people unconsciously seek energy from those around them because they haven't learned to generate their own sense of vitality.

They may unknowingly draw on your energy reserves and you just feel depleted when you are with them.

Everyone has a natural energetic pace.

And whenever there is a clash of rhythms it can feel draining for everyone involved.

And once again,

None of this makes anyone a bad person.

It simply means that not all energy systems are compatible and maybe not all people are meant to be close friends.

Or maybe people,

Places and things that were aligned for me at some point are not aligned to me anymore.

And rather than me trying to force or make it work I can simply accept this information from my body and have boundaries in place to protect myself.

Now as we go deeper into this exploration let's check in with your energy right now.

Bring your attention now to your whole body and notice the quality of energy that's present.

Feel into your head,

Feel into your face.

Does this area of fear feel clear and light or do you feel heaviness?

Notice your neck and your throat.

Does your energy feel like it's flowing freely here or there is tension there?

My heart and my chest.

Does this area feel open and spacious or is it tight and protected?

Arms and my hands.

My core and my belly.

My legs and my feet.

Feel the overall quality of your energy right now.

Does it feel like it belongs to you or does it feel mixed up with other influences?

Now we are going to help you return your energy back to you.

Now imagine,

Sense,

Visualize all the energy that belongs to you that got scattered throughout the day given away to others,

To negative thoughts,

To arguments mixed up with other people without even me knowing it.

Imagine that it's all now beginning to flow back to where it belongs.

So the exercise is,

As I breathe in I feel my own energy returning to me now.

Any areas in my body which felt depleted,

Tight or tense are now beginning to settle.

Every breath in,

I am calling my own energy back to me.

Every breath in,

More of my authentic energy comes home.

Imagine,

Energy from conversations,

Work,

Interactions all returning to its rightful place.

As your energy settles back now into your body,

Notice how this feels.

And often for most people there is a sense of relief coming home to yourself after being scattered across so many interactions and demands of the world.

I am now coming back,

Coming back,

Coming back,

Coming back,

Coming back.

Now,

Feel a gentle protective boundary forming around your energy field.

It's not a wall that keeps people out but it's a filter rather that allows only things which are aligned for me to come in while keeping others at a comfortable distance.

And this boundary can feel like a bubble of soft light around you.

A bubble of soft light around my whole body now.

And some people sense it as a beautiful flowing cloak others see it as a circle.

Whatever feels right for you,

You cannot get this process wrong.

Now this boundary,

This filter welcomes joy,

Laughter and genuine connection and it deflects energy that doesn't serve my well-being.

I want you to feel now how peaceful it is to rest with this gentle protection.

That I can still be open to connection,

Still be open to love but not absorbing every energy that comes my way.

Now your body has its own natural rhythm of energy flow and in this state I want you to feel into this rhythm right now the flow of your life force the way energy moves through your body when it's undisturbed by outside influences.

That's what you're feeling right now.

My own natural rhythm I am aware of this feeling now.

Now when you're around people whose energy aligns with yours this rhythm is supported or even enhanced.

And when you're with people whose energy clashes with you this rhythm can get disturbed or overwhelmed.

Feel your rhythm strengthening now becoming more resilient and more clear in its own pattern.

Now as you rest in your own energy you can also in this state hold compassion for people who drain you.

Now running away,

Hiding from people,

Not seeing people is not the solution.

So as I bring in this compassionate understanding that they may be struggling with challenges you're not aware of they may be struggling with challenges they are not aware of.

And feeling drained in somebody's presence can simply be labeled as energetic misalignment.

There is nothing to do,

There is nothing to fix.

It's just time to listen to my filter telling me something.

And I can have understanding for their struggles while still protecting my own well-being.

Some people need more space from you and that's okay.

And that's wisdom,

Not selfishness.

Now I want you to place one hand on your heart one hand on your belly and just rest into this space and feel your own life force energy.

Your own energy,

Your own vitality,

Your own brightness.

This energy now fills every cell,

Every organ,

Every system in your body.

Anything you may have picked up in your journey knowingly or unknowingly that's now shifting,

Moving out of you.

With each breath the life force gets stronger stronger and more radiant.

Feel yourself now glowing with your own authentic energy completely self-sustaining.

And this is who I am when I am not taking on other people's energy or giving away my own.

Now living from this place of clarity you can see how to navigate friendships,

Relationships with both love and wisdom.

You can now clearly recognize when someone's energy harmonizes with yours and when it doesn't.

Your ability to sense energy is a gift that can help you navigate the world.

Choose environments that support you and maintain your well-being in a world full of different energies.

When you feel drained next time after being with someone it's information.

When you feel energized by someone that's information too.

And this wisdom can help you create a life that truly nourishes you.

Take a moment now to appreciate your body's intelligence in recognizing what energizes you and what drains you.

You have every right to protect your energy and surround yourself with influences that support your highest good.

You can love people from a distance and still maintain healthy boundaries.

You can be compassionate compassionate and still honor your own needs.

Now take three deep breaths feeling your own energy field strong and clear.

Your boundaries are in place your filter is active and life force is flowing through you freely.

When you are ready now gently open your eyes carrying with you this awareness of your authentic energetic nature and the wisdom.

Now remember you are not responsible for managing other people's energy you are only responsible for nourishing your own.

This is not selfish it's necessary for your well-being.

Now your energy is precious your sensitivity is a gift.

Trust what your body tells you and treat your energy with care and respect that it deserves.

Thank you for this empowering and insightful. It’s very helpful and an eye opener to feel this in the body. I am highly sensitive, very open and my default has been to absorb negative, heavy energy or avoid people. My body felt closed, contracted, tense with heavy energy and open, relaxed and light with aligned energy. Interestingly, I felt pain in the back of my body - back of the heart - when feeling my own energy. I know that my energy field has foreign energy in it. I really appreciate the body-sensing focus and using the breath to bring our scattered energy back into our body.
