If you're listening to this,
You probably know all too well what anxiety can do to the body.
It can feel as though you're crippled in your pain and in worry.
I want to remind you that you always have a choice,
A choice to feel the compassionate part of you that lies at the center of your being,
Even when your mind is trying to pull you out of that and into something that doesn't feel true to you,
True to your essence.
I know that at times your body and your mind can feel almost like a prison,
But no matter where you go,
You are always there.
So the best thing to do is to feel at home in your body,
At home with your spirit.
In this moment,
If you are feeling anxious,
I'd like to invite you now to place one hand on your heart and the other on your belly.
You begin to connect with the rhythm of your breath.
With each sweet inhale and each soothing exhale,
Begin to drop in to what is now.
What is happening now is you are breathing fully into every part of you,
Parts of you that sometimes get neglected because we're so busy living in the mind.
Let your breath be your anchor in this moment.
I invite you to say these affirmations.
I am at home in my body.
There's love in my heart always.
I show myself compassion during times of fear and anxiety.
Through every experience that I have,
I am the loving awareness behind it.
I invite you to draw your attention to the hand over your heart and begin to tune in to that peaceful beat.
Your heartbeat is so beautiful.
From what I've found,
It isn't always a normal aspect of people's lives to thank their heartbeat,
To thank the heart that lives within them.
For without it,
We cease to be as humans.
So once you have tapped into that beat and have started to enjoy that peaceful constant rhythm,
Say directly to your heart,
I love you.
Thank you.

Your heart is so powerful.
You are so powerful.
When you focus on the part of you that is good and the part of you that is pure,
Not guided or directed by fear or anxiety.
You allow yourself to create space between you and that fear and that anxiety.
Enough of a space to realize that that is not you.
You are pure.
You are pure love.
You are the steadiest of heartbeats.
And I invite you to say this final affirmation with your heart,
Mind,
Body and spirit.

Let's breathe life directly into your heart and into that affirmation.

Anxiety is just an emotion and it cannot control you if you remember who you are.
If you remember that you are powerful,
More powerful than any thought and any feeling,
You are the loving awareness behind it all.
