Hello and welcome.
Take this moment to pause,
To come home to yourself.
Find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Allow your eyes to close.
Let your hands rest gently.
Nothing to hold,
Nothing to do.
Feel the surface beneath you,
Steady and holding you.
Feel the invitation to let go,
Just a little more.
Take a slow,
Easy breath in through your nose,
And a soft sigh out through your mouth.
Let's do that once more.
A deep inhale,
And a long,
Deep exhale.
Let your breath return to its natural rhythm now,
Gentle and unforced.
Bring your awareness to your body.
Notice where you make contact with the earth.
Feel gravity anchoring you,
Pulling you gently toward the center of the earth.
Let this awareness remind you that you are safe,
Here,
Now.
Scan through your body with gentle attention.
Notice where there is tension,
Where there is ease.
You don't need to fix or change anything.
Just notice.
With each breath,
Invite a softening,
A loosening,
A return to peace.
Now bring your attention to sound.
What do you hear?
The near sounds.
The far sounds.
Let them come and go like waves on a shore.
No need to label or follow.
Just notice.
Notice the silence between the sounds.
Feel how silence is not emptiness,
But presence.
You are sitting in the middle of a living,
Breathing world.
Let this moment be enough.
With each breath,
Imagine your body softening,
Your shoulders releasing,
Your jaw unclenching,
Your belly relaxing.
There is nothing to hold onto right now.
Just breathe in stillness.
As you sit in this sacred pause,
Silently whisper,
I am here.
I am now.
I am enough.
Let your nervous system take in the safety of this stillness.
Let your heart rest.
Let your body remember what peace feels like.
Slowly begin to deepen your breath.
Gently wiggle your fingers.
Wiggle your toes.
Invite small movements back into your body.
Bring one hand to your heart and one hand to your belly.
Take a moment to thank yourself for showing up,
For choosing presence,
For choosing stillness.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Let the peace of this practice ripple outward with you.
The light in me honors the light in you.
Namaste.
