This Lunch Break Yoga Nidra was created to help you take a short break in your day to recharge. It starts with settling in and then a few sighs to help relax your nervous system. Then you will be guided through how to come up with your sankalpa, your heart’s intention, for your practice, then led through a body scan, starting with your right hand. Examples of sankalpas that can be used for this practice: “I am taking care of myself,” or “I am recharging,” or “I honor my well-being.” After the rotation of consciousness, you will be guided into sensing opposite sensations (heavy/light), then guided through a rotation of images, then pure awareness, and then repeating your sankalpa 3 more times. At the conclusion, you will be guided into gently coming back to the present moment.
