Getting comfortable in any way that feels right for you.

You may like to lie down,

You may like to be seated,

You might even be standing.

However you choose to be,

Just notice how you are supported at this very moment.

It may be your feet on the ground or your buttocks on the chair or on the floor.

I wonder if with each exhale you notice your body releasing further down into the support.

I wonder if you can imagine the density of the support beneath you.

If you can imagine the earth way beneath you and all the nutrients within it,

All the life held within it,

All the tiny little beings busy within the earth with absolutely no idea what's going on just above.

As you feel your body easing further down into the support,

I wonder now if you can notice the length of your spine from tailbone all the way up towards the back of the neck and beyond towards the crown of the head and towards the space just above you.

I wonder if you can become a little more aware of the space just above you.

This vast space filled with molecules of air that travel way beyond the space that you're in.

They travel through time and they flow around you and at times they flow within you.

Air is the element of the heart chakra and the heart chakra consists of loving acceptance,

Compassion,

Not just for others but for oneself.

When we think about the air and how it flows through space and time and with our breath,

How beautiful is that?

I wonder now,

Are you able to hold the concept of the vast air and the solid earth at the same time?

Feeling your presence between both.

As you feel your breath now drawing some of the air in through the nostrils.

As you exhale feeling the weight of your body and being soften down towards your support.

Breathing in the air,

Releasing into your support.

Allowing yourself to be held,

Allowing yourself to be supported.

Becoming a little bit more aware now once again of the space around you.

Any sounds around you,

Bringing your hands onto your belly or your heart.

Just giving yourself a gentle smile.

Maybe saying to yourself,

May I remember that I am welcome in this time and space just as I am.
