Good morning.
As you wake into this new day.
Allow yourself a few moments before you move.
There's no need to rush here,
But just notice your breath.
A quiet rise and the gentle fall.
Take a slightly deeper breath in.
And slowly breathe out.
Just take a moment to reflect on how you slept last night.
Perhaps you slept deeply.
Or maybe your rest was a little broken.
Whatever the night brought,
Simply acknowledge that you are here now.
In this moment.
And it's a wonderful new morning.
A new breath.
And new beginning.
If you slept well,
Just take a moment to feel grateful for that rest.
And if not.
Just let this simple practice become a small pocket.
Of restoration for you now.
So take a deeper breath in.
And breathe out slowly and just allow any tension from the night to begin to loosen.
Roll your shoulders gently backwards.
And maybe give yourself a stretch.
Maybe stretch your arms above your head,
Lengthening through your body and release.
Let your shoulders drop down from your ears.
Just relax your jaw and facial muscles.
Soften the space around your eyes.
And just feel yourself arriving fully into this moment.
So we'll move into the wave breath,
A beautiful flowing breath that follows the natural rhythm of the sea.
So make sure you're in a comfy space,
Warm and cozy.
Gently close your eyes and just see yourself standing beside the seashore in the early morning.
The sand beneath your feet is so warm and soft.
The horizon is stretching peacefully before you.
And the waves,
They are moving towards the shore.
And then gently returning to the sea.
Flowing in,
Flowing out.
It's just rhythm here.
So let's begin by placing your awareness low in your belly.
Slowly breathe in and allow the breath to fill your belly and to continue with the same breath gently into your ribs and then into your chest.
And now slowly breathe out,
Softening your chest,
Your ribs and finally your belly.
Again,
Breathing in,
Belly expand,
Ribs.
Chest expansion.
And breathing out chest,
Ribs,
Belly.
And again,
The breath is becoming a wave traveling through your body,
Belly,
Ribs,
Chest,
And breathing out,
Chest,
Ribs.
Just continue in your own time,
Rising.
And gently falling away.
So in your own natural rhythm.
And again,
Belly,
Ribs,
Chest and slowly releasing.
Just feel another wave rising gently through you.
At flowing away.
Feel the smoothness of your breath,
It is just simply flowing.
And once more a wave breath but maybe just a little slower,
A little softer.
Breathing into your belly.
Moving the breath into your ribs.
Your chest.
Add a long,
Peaceful breath out with a slight sigh.
Wonderful.
Now just allow your breathing to return to its natural rhythm.
No counting,
Just breathe.
Feel the soft flow of your breath flowing in.
And just simply flowing out.
Return once more to the image of the sea.
Watch the waves arriving at the shoreline.
And then just flowing back again.
And with every outgoing wave that you see,
Just release something that you don't need to carry with you into today.
Maybe a worry or a thought,
A little tension.
Just let the sea take it.
Now simply breathe.
And just feel yourself letting go,
Softening.
Feel the steady rhythm within your body.
Your breath is moving.
Your heart is beating.
And such life is quietly flowing through you.
So just rest here for a few more moments.
And carry this feeling into your morning.
Flow.
When life becomes busy today,
Remember the way.
Breathe in.
.
.
Breathe out.
And just return to your rhythm.
A nourishing breath in.
And slowly breathing out,
Letting go.
Roll your shoulders,
Give yourself a gentle stretch and when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
So thank you so much for sharing these few quiet moments with me.
And may you move into your day feeling softer,
Steadier and beautifully in your own flow.
Have a wonderful day.
New day.
Namaste,
My friend.
