The Good Now Pause.
Emotional awareness.
Take a moment to just check in.
Check in right now.
See how you're feeling,
What emotions are floating around.
Today's exercise is very simple.
I just want to invite you to take.
10 minutes of your day.
And just sit quietly.
And notice what arises.
What emotions arise?
It could be anger.
It could be frustration.
Nothing wrong with either of those.
It could be calm.
It could be joy.
Whatever comes up,
Whether it be one emotion or several,
Just bring them into your awareness without judgment,
Without trying to explain why they're there.
Just notice them.
And then take this practice into the rest of your day or evening,
Whenever you watch this.
But take this practice on with you.
And anytime you notice an emotion that comes up that is not really conducive to the current situation,
Pause and say.
Good now.
And if you've caught any of my previous videos or lives,
You already know good means I give this moment permission to exist.
And now means.
.
.
I am here,
Present.
After you say good now,
Just notice.
Does your emotion.
.
.
Shift a little bit does it get lighter what what happens after you say good now Do you notice if it lasts longer or shorter than it normally does?
Just pay attention,
Notice,
Bring it into your awareness.
If you've ever experienced responding or reacting to a situation that didn't quite match the situation,
It's likely because There is an emotion in there that was just kind of being sneaky,
You know?
So this practice,
Emotional awareness,
Is not about controlling how you feel.
It's about recognizing what's already there beneath the surface,
Hiding and waiting to be expressed in some kind of way.
So go ahead and try that today.
And then come back and share.
I want to know what you learn.
And as always,
I am here to support you.
May you always create the most amazing now moments.
Until I see you next time,
Make every moment count.
