Or somewhere in between,
It's behind you now.
Take a moment to pause and honor yourself for showing up.
Tomorrow is a fresh start,
An opportunity to begin anew with trust and peace.
This evening meditation is here to help you release the weight of the day and to center yourself before rest.
You can sit comfortably or lie down in bed.
Either way,
Allow yourself this time to unwind,
Breathe,
And reset as you prepare for a restful night.
Start by taking a deep breath in through your nose.
Hold it for a moment and slowly exhale through your mouth,
Releasing the weight of the day.
Take another deep breath,
Breathing in calm and ease.
Hold that breath.
Now as you exhale,
Let go of any lingering tension or worry.
One last time,
Inhale deeply,
Filling yourself with trust and peace.
Hold that breath.
And finally,
Exhale fully,
Allowing your body to soften and relax.
Now close your eyes if they are not so already,
And imagine the day gently fading behind you,
Like the setting sun.
As the sky darkens,
Feel yourself entering a space of stillness and rest.
Picture your teen in this quiet moment.
See them as they are,
Perhaps asleep or in their own world.
Imagine a soft,
Warm light surrounding them.
This light represents your love,
Your trust,
And their growth.
Even when the path feels uncertain,
Trust that they are finding their way.
Now turn that light towards yourself.
See it wrapping around you like a comforting embrace.
It holds your efforts,
Your care,
And your ability to navigate the joys and the challenges of parenting.
Trust in the foundation you've built,
Knowing that both you and your teen are growing each day.
Silently or out loud,
Repeat these affirmations.
The day is done,
And I allow myself to let go.
I trust myself as a parent,
And I trust my teen's journey.
Tomorrow is a new beginning,
Filled with possibility.
Feel the truth of these words sink into your heart,
Bringing you a sense of peace and reassurance.
Now take one final deep breath in,
Breathing in calm,
Trust,

And exhale,
