Welcome to this mindfulness practice today.
Today on this mindfulness journey,
We're going to explore the space between judgment and certainty.
A reflective practice to explore the in-between,
Where understanding lives and where we can meet each other and ourselves with open hearts.
So as we settle into this practice,
I invite you to settle into a comfortable position.
Just taking a gentle inhale inwards,
And a gentle exhale outwards.
Starting to notice the ground beneath you,
Strong,
Steady,
Holding.
Begin to feel your energy grounding and coming back to center.
Start to feel any worries or fears or heavy energy being released,
Leaving your body,
Releasing any heaviness in your heart.
As though it's being lifted from you,
No longer yours to carry.
I invite you to bring a focus to your heart space,
To feel a warm glow of energy and radiance within you and around you.
And with this in heart,
We're going to explore the space beyond certainty,
Beyond right and wrong and a place where understanding can grow.
I invite you to bring awareness to this present moment in your life,
To how you hold your beliefs and perspectives.
And I invite you to consider or to ask yourself,
Where in my life am I holding tightly to being right?
And most importantly,
What would it feel like to soften my grip on needing to have an answer?
Simply notice what surfaces with gentle curiosity.
Invitation with this practice and with this reflection is to consider what becomes possible when we release the need of certainty and of correct answers and instead hold space for the possibility of the in-between.
Life is not lived in absolutes,
It can be found in sometimes the messy but beautiful in-between.
I may invite you to consider where you have stopped exploring in your life,
In your heart,
In your perspective and connection,
Because you've decided that you already know.
What perspectives have you potentially dismissed without trying to fully understand?
It's maybe with others,
With a view of the world or also within yourself.
And I just invite you to breathe into any resistance this may bring up for you.
Sometimes we find that the space between certainty and openness is where a real connection lives.
Remaining with your breathing,
Remaining present to the life force within you.
And just remaining with this focus on your heart space.
I may invite you to consider what it means to truly meet someone halfway.
What does it mean to truly meet yourself halfway?
And what does it mean to truly meet life halfway?
What does it mean to meet life halfway?
Is there somewhere in this season of life that you may be able to choose curiosity?
Consider what it feels like to hold space for multiple truths existing at once.
I might invite you to envision standing in an open field,
Willing to listen before you speak.
And just notice what happens in your heart,
Your mind and your soul,
In this place of listening and understanding.
There are many possibilities and potentials.
There is much within this world that we may not be able to control but we can choose who we want to be.
You may want to consider what kind of human,
What kind of soul you want to be in this world.
How do you want to show up when things feel divided,
Uncertain or difficult?
And just notice how your body responds.
We may often find that our heart knows the kind of presence that we want to embody.
And there isn't a perfect answer.
This reflection is simply about being intentional with how we meet and navigate through the world.
Just taking a gentle inhale inwards,
And exhale to release.
Remaining present in this moment.
I invite you to allow yourself to imagine what it would feel like to lead with your heart.
What would it feel like to live a heart-led life?
Even when it's hard.
What does it look like to choose understanding?
Over being right,
Connection over division,
And openness over certainty?
This field beyond judgment,
It exists within you first,
Before it can exist within your world.
This field beyond judgment exists within us first,
Before it can exist within the world.
May I invite you to stay open to the questions.
To hold curiosity around the questions themselves.
To hold the grace and the space to listen,
And to honor the parts of your heart that long to speak and to be heard.
In your mind,
You may like to set an intention for how you want to meet the world in this season,
And hold it close in your heart.
And with this intention in mind,
I invite you to take another gentle inhale inwards,
And an exhale outwards.
And just to invite an energy of openness,
Compassion,
And curiosity towards you.
And to take this moment to share any final words to yourself.
Be a gentle thank you to yourself for showing up for this practice today.
And gently,
When you're ready,
To invite yourself back into this moment.
And to open up to the space around you.
If able to do so,
You may like to move and stretch your body,
And just wake back up to the space around you.
And when you're ready to open your eyes,
As you move forward with this new perspective,
And this new approach,
This intentional approach,
Within your heart.
