Welcome to your 3 minute reset meditation.
Even amidst the whirlwind of your busy day,
You deserve a gentle moment just for you.
So whatever has led you to this moment,
And whatever lies ahead,
Let's take these 3 minutes together,
Not as another task on your to-do list,
But as a small act of care to reset your mind.
Find a position that feels comfortable,
Whether sitting or standing and simply pausing.
Wherever you land,
Let your hands rest softly.
Let your shoulders drop and soften.
And if it feels good,
Let your eyes close or soften your gaze.
Take a deep breath in,
Feeling your belly,
Ribs and chest expand and exhale slowly through the mouth,
Imagining any tension melting away.
Let your breath be a tender anchor for these next few moments.
Begin to inhale and exhale softly through your nose,
Letting your breath be natural and steady.
With every inhale welcoming a sense of gentle ease and replenishing energy.
With every exhale release whatever is feeling heavy for you right now.
There is nothing that needs to be done for the next few moments.
If your mind wanders,
Gently guide it back by focusing on the sensation of your breath entering and leaving the body.
Breathing in,
Scanning your body from the crown of your head to your toes,
Noticing any areas that need to let go.
With each breath out,
Gently invite those areas to soften,
Allowing your shoulders to drop,
Your jaw to relax,
Your hands to unclench.
Offering yourself a moment of ease and compassion.
Take one last comforting breath in.
Hold it for a peaceful pause.
Then release with a slow,
Loving exhale through the mouth.
When you feel ready,
You can open your eyes a little lighter,
A little more cared for.
Until next time,
Namaste.
