Claire is a Gentle Yoga and Meditation teacher, specialising in supportive, therapeutic practices that help busy, overwhelmed people slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with themselves. With her own experience with burn-out and fast-paced living prior to becoming a Yoga teacher, her core philosophy is to help others reduce stress, and balance day-to-day physical and mental overwhelm. Using a gentle approach to Yoga and self-care that is simple, supportive and manageable, Claire helps her students to reclaim time to care for themselves in a kind, adaptive way. Originally a Hatha-Flow Yoga and Meditation teacher, Claire moved into the field of Functional and Adaptive Yoga with the study of Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Musculoskeletal Anatomy and Mindfulness Meditation. Through her group classes and one-to-one sessions, she focuses on providing her students space to safely access the healing benefits of a gentle and more functional yoga practice. By moving with the body and mind, and not against them, the overall experience provides for more freedom, shifting from resistance to acceptance, and finding a steady and natural flow for the whole being.
