Hello everyone and welcome.
My name is Aveline Grove and this is a discussion around the astrological highlights for the month of May of 2026.
So some transits that are taking place on May 1st.
We have a full moon in Scorpio that I have gone down a lot of rabbit holes with,
It's a big one.
On May 2nd Mercury enters Taurus and on May 6th we have a Pluto retrograde in Aquarius.
May 16th the new moon occurs in Taurus and then on May 31st we end the month with another full moon in Sagittarius.
So this month's astrology unfolds like a sacred story of the self.
It is a journey of deep revelation and I say gentle transformation but it may feel more abrupt than that.
The gentle comes in because with the Scorpio moon that is often very shadowy and deep and transformative,
It is all of those things.
But the light from Taurus that is shining in helps us be able to get to the emotional truth of what's hidden in the depths so that we can move into the fertile ground of our own self-worth.
And then all of that opens finally to the liberation of the beliefs that no longer serve our soul and how we release those.
The rhythm of this month is marked by these moons,
The two full moons and the new moon.
Each one serves as a guide,
A luminous checkpoint inviting in the reflections,
Intention and release.
And together with all the planetary currents at play,
These lunar moments create a path for you to witness the stories that you tell yourself,
To uncover what's been keeping you small and to reclaim the narrative of your own soul,
Your self-worth,
Your values.
This month asks you to move tender and gently towards shadow into grounding and then into that expansive clarity that comes when the inner alchemy and renewal are finally embraced.
May becomes a sacred time to honor your inner work,
To cultivate self-compassion and to weave a story of your own choosing,
One that is grounded in truth,
Love and alignment.
Because all the things that have been hidden in the dark,
Lies,
Deceit,
Facades,
All of that falls away this month.
So let's talk a bit about the grounding of the mind.
This month opens with Mercury moving into Taurus and that follows the full moon in Scorpio.
This is going to shift your mental landscape.
Communication will slow,
Thoughts will deepen and the mind will become deliberate,
Steady and practical.
This is going to be a very stabilizing force.
It's a chance to rewrite that inner dialogue from a grounded place rather than an emotional place.
This transit will support speaking to yourself with patience rather than pressure,
Rooting through thoughts of what is real versus what is feared.
You'll get to choose beliefs that support your worth instead of eroding it.
Mercury in Taurus is going to ask,
What is the most stabilizing truthful way I can speak to myself?
And again those ideas around truth comes back to that full moon that we start with on the first.
And let's talk a little bit about the shadow of the mind because this is a lot about light and shadow,
What's hidden,
What's revealed.
Pluto begins its backward motion and then focus shifts to the hidden patterns within your thinking begin to be revealed.
There may be times of confusion and disorientation as Pluto first calls you inward.
This is going to dissolve certainty so that deeper truths can emerge.
And what do I mean by that?
I mean like the beliefs that you have been like,
Yes this is definitely the way it is.
This is the thing,
This is what I do with the thing,
This is how the thing looks.
All of that starts to get a little fuzzy.
You may have noticed this already in your life.
For instance,
I have a friend that has shown up at school to pick up her children at the wrong time twice this week and I've done that twice in the past month or so.
So things like that where it's like,
I definitely know that this is what this is but then it's very clearly not.
And it can be something as simple as showing up at the wrong place or the right place at the wrong time or the wrong place at the right time.
But very quickly it becomes an excellent period for research reflection and really uncovering those stories.
This retrograde will shine a light on self-destructive thought patterns,
Old beliefs that have been inherited from family,
Culture,
Trauma,
Our past stories,
Ways that you may have dimmed your light to fit into others,
Outdated mental frameworks that have kept you small.
And this is a moment where that deeper story begins to crack open.
Pluto is going to ask,
What have I been sabotaging myself or where?
Where have I been sabotaging myself without realizing it?
And what truth about my mind am I finally ready to see?
This is very heady but it's a good place to get to after having been like in the depths of the soul with Scorpio at the beginning of the month.
Some energies that are guiding your month.
This month is going to invite you into a tender transformation,
Again I say tender but it's probably not going to feel that way,
From the inside out to witness the truth rising from the depths,
To root into your self-worth and to release the beliefs that have kept you small.
Here you learn that emotional safety is a skill and it's one that will become essential for the deeper soul work that we're going to experience in the second half of the year.
So it's almost like you're getting a little preview of what's going to come later and I don't know if you're feeling what I've been feeling lately,
It's a lot and so you're going to have to find some grounding practices.
So how do we do that?
We have to ground,
We have to have honest reflection,
We have to really widen our perspective so that we can revamp this inner narrative with a softer tone and approach.
You have to work on the way that you're speaking to yourself and really be supportive.
So find the things that give you comfort.
Is that a bath?
Is it a warm blanket?
Is it walking in nature?
Is it talking to a friend or a loved one?
You're going to really want to find those things right now so that as we move through this challenging and uplifting and uprooting year,
You're able to continue to return to those practices.
This is a time to invite in mindful practices that keep you present in the here and now.
Like where are my feet?
You're going to want to ask yourself that a lot.
Where are my feet?
Where am I?
What's going on around me?
The card that I have for this month is the two of cups and I picked that card specifically not because it has anything to do with the astrology that's happening from like a zodiac perspective,
But as I was thinking about this inner union,
The union between the inner self and the healing of the relationship with yourself,
It was like I returned to myself with compassion.
I choose harmony,
Inner trust,
And healing connection.
And I just kept seeing like that divine feminine and divine masculine parts of the self coming together in perfect union and the two of cups really reflects that.
Being cups is very emotional and Scorpio,
That being the moon that we start out with,
Is a water sign and so it just felt very fitting.
I would ask you to journal about what you're focused on this month.
What's coming in for you?
What do you want to align with?
What are you looking to release and what are you looking to call in?
And around those topics of release and calling in,

E-R-I-S.
She is the Greek goddess of discord and chaos and if you joined me for the live event on the full moon,
We talked a lot about Eris and so she's very present here.
She is an asteroid that is at play in the sky as well on the first and really always but 1920 to 1944 kind of always.
1944?
How about 1920 to 2044?
See?
Discord.
Chaos.
She's not even gonna let me get the dates right.
So there is a guided meditation to her that is recorded that is around the themes of what you're releasing and what you're calling in so I would invite you to check that out because it can be really helpful to get to some of those soul level parts.
Okay,
Let's talk about some of these moons.
We have a full moon in Scorpio on the first and with that it is at 11 degrees and the sun is in Taurus.
Now,
I have about 11 pages typed about this moon so we're not going to get into all that right now because that would be a lot but there are some things that I want to talk about that are coming through with this moon that are going to be recurrent themes that you see.
Eris is one of them.
Another one is us moving into these air signs.
So with the moon we have Gemini at play and with Gemini it is an air sign and that is somewhere that we'll get to be for the month and like in in the next couple months and so that's a different place than we're used to.
This Scorpio full moon is in,
You'll see how this relates,
Is in the third house and the third house is related to communication.
Air signs related to communication,
Speech being very heady,
All of that to say that it is important now to really tune in to yourself and fine-tune your language and how you're going to speak to the changes and things that you are experiencing later in the year.
So you're going to want to be able to put some of this into words.
A lot of times with Scorpio it's a lot of feelings and deep transformative work and it's not something that we really speak about out loud to others.
It's more that those vulnerable places,
The soft places,
The the places that we kind of keep hidden.
Well now is the time to bring those from behind the veil,
Bring them forward so that we as a collective can heal and learn from each other.
But you're only going to be able to put your voice to it if you start defining it in words now.
The sun being in Taurus during this full moon and by the full moon I mean like really the first two weeks of the month so from May 1st to May 15th is really what we're looking at.
You will be able to take real practical steps to do this so it's going to help you really ground and ask okay what is it that I need,
What am I seeing and how can I work with what's showing up.
This is really the emotional roots of your inner dialogue being exposed.
It's like I think about the trees outside in my yard literally and where the ground is kind of eroded because the roots are coming up that that's what's happening and it's those wounds fears and attachments that have shaped the story that you've told yourself up until this point.
So what's rising is what you need to witness and not fear and it's giving you a chance to alchemize that shadow into strength.
So a journal prompt would be what would it look like to offer myself compassion in the very moment I feel triggered ashamed or afraid.
And then we get to move into the new moon in Taurus and you know I really think about this as like the the spiral dance from shadow to sovereignty as we move through these three moons because remember we have full and new and then full again.
So this new moon in Taurus is about intentions intention setting from literally the soil s-o-i-l soil the ground of your worth and if you do that Aris meditation you will see that we literally get into the earth with our hands.
This is so that you can build new narratives based on truth not survival wounds.
You get to set intentions that are rooted in self-love and stability.
You during this time you can anchor your desires into what feels safe nourishing and aligned and this is the bridge between the mind you're releasing and the life you want to build.
Think about that this moon in Taurus this new moon that's coming in is literally going to allow you to create that bridge between what you're getting rid of at the beginning of the of the month and May 1st to what you want to build by the new moon on the 30th this is the 31st this is the you've got a full moon on the first full moon on the 31st and this new moon here in the middle is like your bridge your anchor point okay what do I want to build how am I going to do it like let let's let's let's get it let's get to it what do I believe so you've got to ask yourself what do I believe I deserve when's the last time you asked yourself that what do I believe I deserve and what am I willing to do to honor that okay we end the month with the full moon in Sagittarius I rise into sovereignty this is a spell of outdated beliefs being broken where fresh insights and perspectives get to come in they bring a renewed sense of possibility into your inner and your outer world and you are set up for a full release of limiting self-beliefs of worldwide views of narratives and of philosophies now I talked a little bit already probably a lot already about Eris but when she was discovered back in 2005 as a planet she redefined the solar system it was her that knocked Pluto out so here she is again showing up she's conjunct Mercury on May 1st and her that storyline is going to play through the whole month and so you get to redefine who you are this month like literally think of think about that who you introduce yourself as today's I'm recording this on April 30th so today's April 30th I introduce myself to you I explain who I am I talk about my background come May 31st I could use a completely different narrative I could use completely different words I could tell you completely different versions of the same story all based on the perception that I hold and how those stories have shaped my becoming you can literally do that the stories that you have in your life the narratives that you've told yourself that's all they are the words that you put to them have so much power and so if you're speaking to them from self-limiting beliefs that's how they're going to show up but if you speak to it from a sense of yeah that happened and this is what I learned and it's an embodied and empowered version of that then that gives you a very different vibe for how you define yourself and the stories and the experiences that you've had so I just invite you to think about that this month this is the moment of liberation it is accumulation of all the work that you've done throughout this month and your lifetime up until this moment you get to step out of the shadow and into the light of your worth now you are free to move forward into a broader horizon of possibilities so which beliefs currently limit your expansion and what truths will set you free and a final journal prop for the month in what ways can I continue to nurture and honor my renewed sense of self um I do plan to do a full moon session around the Sagittarius moon because I just think this is such a powerful moment in our becoming not only as individuals but as a collective and there is so much at play in the sky that it is impossible for me to get it all into a recording and hold the container in the space for it and for us that I think that we need in this moment as a collective and as souls that exist in this timeline in this moment in space so I invite you to join me there and if you're listening to this after the fact I would just say um use it as a reflective guide and think back to where you were right where was I in May of 2026 what was happening in my life what what shifts were taking place in the collective and if you keep journals you know this would be a great month for 30 days to journal um it is a time of social media so you could always do social media posts for the next 30 days to see how you change and shift from day one to day 30 and that could be terrifying for people to put yourself out there like that but a video diary I just think having some sort of proof of like this is where I was and this is where I am now or this is where we were and this is where we are now because I truly do believe that on June 1st we're going to look different the world's going to look different and I don't have all the answers to what all of that means but I think that this this is the start of um a lot of change for all of us and I invite you to um reach out reach out to me reach out to your to your support system to the collective because it is going to take all of us coming together to move through whatever these changes are that are coming and that is all just from a place of just a sense a feeling a sense of knowing um some channeled messages so
