Welcome to this moment of stillness and alignment.

This meditation is designed to bring you back into balance and to ground you,

Mind,

Body and spirit.

Find a comfortable seated position or lie down,

Whichever feels best for you right now.

Gently close your eyes and begin to tune into your breath.

Simply notice your breathing without trying to change it.

Connect to your breath at this time and draw your attention inward to your insides of your body.

Now take a deep breath in through your nose for a count of four.

Hold for a count of four and exhale softly through your mouth.

Let's do this a couple more times.

Inhale through your nose for a count of four.

Hold for a count of four and exhale softly through your mouth.

Inhale through your nose.

Notice how your body has changed.

You're feeling more relaxed.

You're sinking deeper into your seat or your mat.

You're releasing any tension in your shoulders,

In your jaws,

In your face.

Anywhere there's tension,

You're releasing it at this time.

Inhale through the nose.

Hold and exhale.

Now bring your attention to the base of your spine and the soles of your feet.

And imagine roots growing from the base of your spine and the soles of your feet.

These roots are reaching deep into the earth.

Feel yourself connecting with the stability and the grounding energy of the earth beneath you.

Once you're connected,

I want you to inhale.

Imagine drawing that grounding energy of the earth up through the roots and into your body.

And as you exhale,

Let go of any stress,

Any tension.

Just simply release it through those roots into your body.

And as we exhale,

We're letting go of any tension,

Any stress or heaviness.

Energy through those roots into the body,

Releasing any tension or stress.

Notice the shift in your body at this time.

Now bring your awareness to the center of your chest,

Your heart space.

Here we're going to visualize a warm golden light.

A ball of energy just glowing there,

Steady and soothing.

This is your center,

Your balance point.

And with every inhale,

We see this golden light growing brighter and bigger.

And with every exhale,

We imagine it expanding outward,

Filling your entire body with balance,

Calm,

And peace.

If your mind wanders here,

It's okay.

Just gently guide it back to the golden light in your heart.

Golden light,

This ball of energy.

And as you exhale,

Imagine healing as this golden light grows brighter and bigger.

And exhaling as this light expands and fills your entire body.

Notice how your body feels,

The stillness of your mind and the calmness.

Thank you for this moment of balance.

And I carry this peace with me throughout the day.

Thank you for this moment of balance.

I will carry this peace with me throughout the day.

Bring your awareness back to your body.

Take one more final deep breath in,

Filled with gratitude,

And exhale.
