Welcome to my meditation channel.
Today I want to share with you a guided meditation designed to offer peace,
Comfort and healing to those suffering with cancer.
Find yourself a quiet,
Comfortable place to sit or lie where you will not be disturbed.
Gently close your eyes and take a deep breath in.
Fill your lungs with air and as you exhale imagine releasing all the tensions and the worries of the day.
With each breath allow yourself to think deeper and deeper into a state of relaxation.
Bring your attention now to your body,
Noticing any areas of discomfort or pain.
As you focus on these areas,
Breathe into them and visualize your breath as a warm,
Healing light.
With every exhale feel the discomfort softening,
Melting away,
Being replaced by a sense of ease.
Focus on all the areas of your body that might be in discomfort or pain.
Breathe deeply into them.
Your breath a warm,
Healing light.
And with every exhale feel the discomfort softening.
Feel your discomfort softening and melting away,
Being replaced by a sense of ease,
A sense of peace.
Picture yourself in a beautiful,
Tranquil garden.
The garden is full of a variety of exquisite flowers and the soothing sounds of nature.
The sun is shining gently,
Its rays providing a comfortable warmth on your body.
I want you to imagine that this beautiful sunlight has a healing quality.
Visualize it touching every part of your body,
Filling you with strength and vitality.
Now repeat these affirmations silently to yourself.
I am surrounded by love and support.
And support.
Every cell in my body is resilient and full of life.
I embrace peace and healing with every breath.
I am strong.
I am brave.
And I am definitely not alone.
I want you now to shift your focus to gratitude.
Think of all the things in your life that you are grateful for.
Your loved ones,
Moments of joy,
The medical care that you receive,
Your friend,
Your family,
Your colleagues.
Let this feeling of gratitude fill your heart,
Bringing with it hope and positivity.
Now I want you to imagine a gentle stream in front of you.
Write down all your fears,
All your worries on leaves and put them into the stream.
I want you to watch as the water carries them away,
Leaving you lighter,
Making you free from these burdens.
Take three deep breaths,
Bringing your awareness back to the present.
Feel the chair or the bed or the ground supporting you.
Feel the air on your skin,
The ground beneath your feet.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes,
Carrying with you the peace,
Healing,
And comfort from this meditation.
